Qi Yuan turned his head and saw Ji Mo Jueqian's figure close at hand, that face he had been thinking about day and night, now looking at him with a slight smile.
“We’ve been hiding from him for over a hundred years,” she said. “Now, there’s no need to hide anymore.”

Another attack descended directly upon the protective array of the Chaoming Palace.
The spiritual energy shield, at least three feet thick, finally shattered into countless irregular fragments after several attacks. These fragments drifted down from mid-air, like the last light snow of late winter.
Ji Mo Fan felt a gust of wind sweep past him, and when he looked again, Ji Mo Jue Qian was nowhere to be seen.
In contrast, a dazzling white light suddenly appeared between the dark clouds and the sky before them.
A thunderous roar echoed through the sky, and a white beast the size of a small mountain leaped out from the thick fog that had risen from nowhere. Its roar was filled with the force of thunder, and it flew into the air to fight the white figure.
"Your Excellency!"
Xihe suddenly shouted, and as he leaped away, everyone saw a black shadow fall from the center of the battle.
He charged forward, transforming from human form into beast form. Although not as large as his mother, it was still more than enough to carry one person.
Xiao Wangyan was taken in by him.
Ji Mofan stepped forward and took his pulse. Only after hearing his heartbeat did his brow relax slightly, but it still looked wrinkled.

Ji Mo Jueqian took a bite at the somewhat stunned Qu Jin, but missed the vital spot, leaving a deep, bone-revealing bloodstain.
Qu Jin was shocked and quickly retreated, only to find that countless demons had surrounded him completely. He hovered in place, his jaw clenched, and his cheeks twitched visibly.
“Not only have the demon race trespassed into my cultivation world, but now that we are at a critical juncture, is this an attempt to side with the demon realm?” Qu Jin turned around and looked at Bai Ze behind him.
"Don't make a mountain out of a molehill. I told you I'm here today to settle a personal score!" Ji Mo Jueqian wasn't buying it. "You ruined my family, separating me from my husband and children for a hundred years. Today I'm here to teach you a lesson, you hypocrite!"
At Ji Mo Jueqian's command, countless demonic beasts responded with a continuous roar.
Strange and bizarre monsters emerged one after another from the white mist, launching a continuous attack on Qu Jin.
Even though Qu Jin was at the late Mahayana stage, just as ants can kill an elephant, he couldn't handle so many demonic beasts that seemed to be recklessly attacking him.
