They first came to the educated youth site and met Lin Ruyan.
Guan Yurong saw that Lin Ruyan had gotten a bit darker, and she felt so distressed. "Ruyan, look at you. You had to come here to suffer."
Old Madam Guan asked, "Didn't you come here for Yun Qi? How are you and her doing now?"
Lin Ruyan told them the truth: "Grandma, Mom, there's a girl here who keeps pestering Yun Qi. Yun Qi doesn't pay much attention to me because of her."
"Girl? Who is she?" Old Mrs. Guan and Guan Yurong asked together.
"She is the daughter of a landlord here."
"From what you said, Yun Qi likes that girl? In that case, let them be together." said Mrs. Guan.
Lin Ruyan and Guan Yurong both disagreed with her statement. Guan Yurong was deep in thought and did not express her opinion for the time being. Lin Ruyan complained, "That girl doesn't look good at first glance. I'm afraid she approached Brother Yunqi with a purpose. What if Brother Yunqi falls for her trick?"
Guan Yurong said, "When Yun Qi comes, I'll go ask him what's going on."

"Mom, I'll go with you."
Guan Yurong wanted to meet Xu Nuannuan and see what kind of person she was.
