"Morning, Teacher Jiang!"
"Good morning, Teacher Jiang!"
As soon as the students at the school saw Jiang Wanyue, their eyes lit up and they quickly greeted her.
Today is Saturday, and according to the class schedule, they have their favorite art class.
Art class was a big class, and all the students in the school sat in the playground to listen to the class together. Jiang Wanyue stood on the podium, and she looked around at everyone and said in a calm voice: "Before the class, I want to share something. When I came to school this morning, I saw several students from our school besieging an old man on the road."
As soon as she started talking, four or five male students shrank their necks and hid in the crowd.
"That was an intellectual who was sent down to the countryside for reform. They did the hardest and most tiring work in the brigade and worked hard for the four modernizations of our motherland. No matter how complicated their backgrounds were, from the moment they stood on the land, they were our comrades in building the motherland together." Jiang Wanyue spoke slowly, "The motherland is reforming them, and the motherland is also cultivating you. You, the flowers of the motherland, should not destroy the labor of others..."
She can only educate these children from the great perspective of building the motherland.
In fact, the atmosphere of the entire Xiaojing Brigade was still good. Those "bad elements" were not deliberately criticized by the brigade. Just like all other brigades, they were made to live in cow sheds, collect manure, and eat coarse grains... Few people deliberately bullied others, except for some second-rate guys and these ignorant students.
Under Jiang Wanyue's teaching, several fifth-grade male students stood up, apologized in shame, and said they would never do it again next time.
"You are a good student if you correct your mistakes as soon as you realize them. Please sit down. Next, we will have art class." Jiang Wanyue stood on the podium and started the class.
According to the lesson plan, she is still taking the children today to make some simple art patterns using natural materials.
But she will soon no longer be a teacher at school. She wants to try her best to show more possibilities of art and stimulate students' interest.
"You two students, help carry all the paint up." She said, "And you guys, take the brooms, let's clean this wall together."
The five classrooms in the primary school are connected together. There is a blackboard newspaper drawn by Teacher Wan on one wall on the east and west sides of the wall. The other wall is empty and covered with spider webs.
After cleaning it with a broom, she asked the students to carry the paint to the wall.
She threw the broom into the five paint buckets, clapped her hands and said, "Now, all students line up in five rows. Line up in the row of your favorite color. Take turns to step forward, dip the broom in the paint, and leave your mark on this wall. You can paint whatever you want."
Almost all students ranked next to the three colors of red, yellow and blue. No one liked black and white.
Finally, probably because they had to wait in line for too long, a few students walked up to the two colors, picked up a broom and randomly painted on the wall.
The originally blue-gray walls were slowly dyed with colors, with red, yellow, and blue splattered all over, occupying most of the space, with only sporadic black and white. The colors became more and more colorful and richer.
Half an hour later, everyone had left their mark on the wall.
Jiang Wanyue stood on the wall, observed it carefully, and said with a smile: "This painting is good, great, you are all amazing!"
Wan Xuegong, a fifth-grader, was puzzled and asked, "Teacher, why can't I see that this is a painting?"
“I feel like a mess.”
"Teacher Jiang, you don't have to force yourself to praise us."
Some students were embarrassed.
The teacher gave them paint to paint, but they made a mess.
"This is a painting, but you don't have a pair of eyes that are good at discovering it yet." Jiang Wanyue rolled up her sleeves and said calmly, "When you become more sensitive to colors, you will be able to see the deeper meaning of these colors."
No matter how much you say, it’s better to do it.
Jiang Wanyue picked up the broom and started painting.
In this painting, there is a large area of yellow on the upper right. She dipped a broom in yellow paint and handed it to the older child: "You are responsible for painting this area yellow, with this line as the boundary."
She held a small brush in her hand and drew a line.
Then start mixing colors, mixing yellow and green, with more yellow, and ask a girl to paint the lower right corner of the wall this color.
Then, she quickly framed the large red area on the wall and drew a national flag with just a few strokes. She called a few students over: "A red flag with five stars, right?"
Several students nodded quickly and stood on the table to start coloring.
Jiang Wanyue assigned all the coloring tasks to others, and then she took a small brush and began to paint carefully.
In this way, with the cooperation of teachers and students, the painting on the wall gradually took shape.
"The yellow part is the rice, and the yellow-green part is the orange stalk!"
“It turns out the flag was on a tractor, a blue tractor!”
"I was just wondering what the black part was. It turned out to be a person wearing black clothes."
"Teacher Jiang is so amazing!"
Jiang Wanyue was drawing a few people standing on a tractor. Due to the limitations of the drawing tools, the drawing was not very good, but for these students, it was like witnessing a miracle with their own eyes.
"Huaizhi, come here." Jiang Wanyue got down from the bench and handed the small brush to her son. "Write here, great harvest."
Song Huaizhi was held by Jiang Wanyue and stood on the table, writing down these three words seriously and carefully.
"What a great harvest!"
Principal Zheng arrived at some point and was completely stunned when he saw such a huge painting.
