Chapter 12 Buyi

"Buzz~~"

With a long whistle from the train, we arrived at our final destination, Hebei Province.

The people in the carriage all started moving, crowding together to get out.

Bling remained motionless; she wasn't going to squeeze in. With her small frame, if a stampede happened, where would she go to cry?

After most of the people in the carriage had disembarked, Bu Ling stood up and followed the last few people off the train.

The train stopped in the capital city of Hebei Province. She needed to catch another train to get to Shuishigu County, where Buyi was located.

Once she arrives in Gu County, someone will pick her up, and then she will be able to meet the original owner's brother.

etc!

What's wrong?

It seems she didn't reply to Buyi's letter!

Will Buyi keep her a job?

Did you know she went to Hebei Province today?

Will someone pick her up when she arrives in Gu County?

Three questions in a row left Bling speechless with frustration.

She stopped and stood on the crowded train platform, feeling so ashamed of her own stupidity.

I wonder if Buyi would even receive a telegram if I sent one now.

She sighed, picked up her small bundle, and continued walking out. No matter what, she had to give it a try.

If she loses her job, she loses it. She has money now, and if it doesn't work out, she'll just buy another one. She believes that there will always be people who will bend for money. Indeed, money makes people bold.

She walked out of the train station, randomly grabbed a middle-aged man who looked kind, and asked in a sweet tone, "Excuse me, sir, how do I get to the post office?" As she spoke, she slipped the man a penny.

The uncle quickly put the money away and said, "Just walk straight down this road, turn left at the first intersection, and you'll see the post office."

"Thank you, brother!" Buling said, and followed the directions the uncle gave her towards the post office.

After turning the corner, she indeed saw the post office. She went inside and said to the clerk at the counter, "Excuse me, I'd like to send a telegram. How much does it cost?"

"One cent per word."

"Sister, when will this telegram arrive?" Buling asked.

"Sent today, arrives tomorrow," the staff member replied succinctly.

Bling: ………

Do I still need to send a telegram if it arrives tomorrow?

"Never mind, I won't send it anymore, thank you, sister!"

She walked out of the post office dejectedly. If all else failed, she would go to the address on Bu Yi's letter, but she didn't know if Bu Yi would recognize her.

When I arrived at the train station, I bought a ticket for the nearest train that departed at noon and would pass through Shuishigu County that evening.

After waiting on the platform for a while, the train arrived.

Bling boarded the train and, as usual, found a window seat.

She then splurged on a plate of stir-fried pork with chili peppers and two large steamed buns, turning her grief and anger into appetite.

She felt that she must have been infected by the Du family, otherwise she wouldn't be so stupid.

After finishing his boxed lunch, he returned it, took her one-cent deposit, and sat back down, silently reflecting on his foolishness.

As the sun was setting, the train made a brief stop, and Bling, carrying her small bundle, stepped off the train with swift steps.

The train only stops at this station, so there aren't many people on the platform.

Therefore, as soon as Bling got off the train, she saw a piece of white paper on the platform with her name written on it, and the two characters "Bling" were written in bold and large font.

She looked down the white paper and saw a familiar face.

Oh, it's a face that the original owner recognized!

He had a handsome and refined face, with two sword-like eyebrows that slanted upwards to his temples. His eyes, which were exactly the same as hers, were bright and sparkling. He had a high nose bridge, thin lips that were tightly pursed, and he was frowning as he searched for something among the people getting off the train.

When Bling saw this scene, tears instantly streamed down her face.

The man seemed to sense something, looked over, and after a second or two, put away the white paper and strode towards Bu Ling.

Bling's tears fell even harder; she didn't try to control them, letting the original owner's emotions dictate her actions.

"Lingling?" the man called out uncertainly.

Bling choked up and couldn't speak, so she could only nod vigorously.

“Bling?” the man asked again.

“I…I am,” Bling said, choking back tears.

After confirming her identity, Bu Yi said gently, "Lingling, I'm your brother!"

Bling's tears flowed even more profusely.

Buyi frantically wiped away her younger sister's tears as she cried incessantly.

"You...you don't want me anymore?" the little girl asked, her voice choked with sobs.

"No, no, how could my brother not want you?" Bu Yi quickly explained.

"Then, then you won't come to find me, leaving me all alone." He asked the question the little girl most wanted to ask.

"Lingling, Lingling, don't cry. Your brother really started asking about you as soon as he came out." Bu Yi looked helplessly at his beloved little sister who kept crying.

"Waaaaah, you all don't want me anymore, I'm all alone now, waaaaah, Dad's gone, Grandma's gone, my brother doesn't want me anymore, I'm all alone now." Bu Ling couldn't hear what Bu Yi was saying at all, she only felt endless grievances.

Buyi hugged his sister, who was crying incessantly, and gently patted her back.

"Waaaaah~ Why did you leave me with my mom~ Did I do something wrong? Waaaaah~ I miss Grandma, I miss Dad, I miss my brother, why am I all alone? It hurts so much, it hurts so much, my heart hurts so much." Buling cried loudly, completely losing her mind.

Buyi's eyes were red from his sister's crying. Hearing her question, his heart ached as if it were being torn apart, and he clenched his fists.

When he was sixteen, he was admitted to university and was taken to a deserted island for closed training and study. He spent five years on the island.
