Standing in this courtyard, she's immediately in the center of attention. This group of people walking together immediately notice this stunning beauty; it's unclear what her relationship is with Engineer Qi.
When Aunt Wu saw the group of people come in, she quickly wiped her hands on her apron and said, "Engineer Qi, this must be your family member. My husband's surname is Wu, and he is the caretaker of this compound. If you need anything, you can contact us anytime."
Her husband said that Engineer Qi was a favorite of the factory manager, and that she should take good care of him; maybe he could even find her son a mentor and get him a promising job.
"Sister Wu, thank you for your trouble. These are my parents and my husband." Qi Gong pointed to the elderly couple and a middle-aged woman behind them.
Aunt Wu warmly extended her hand: "Hello Uncle Qi, Aunt Qi, and Sister Qi, feel free to contact me anytime if you need anything."
The old lady reached out and shook his hand: "Thank you, Xiao Wu."
After exchanging a few pleasantries, Aunt Wu led the group towards the backyard.
As they passed by, Buling made a point of counting; the family had thirteen members. Besides Qi Gong and his wife, there were Qi Gong's parents, and the rest were all young faces; he didn't know their identities.
Aunt Wu led Engineer Qi to the backyard and didn't disturb them further. They had just arrived and there was still some tidying up to do; she wasn't one to be so tactless.
When everyone returned home from get off work in the evening, they learned that a new neighbor had come to the backyard. They were all very curious and wanted to go and see her, but Grandpa Wu stopped them, saying, "She just arrived. There will be plenty of opportunities to get to know her later."
That's true, but everyone was still very curious. However, their curiosity didn't last long; not long after dinner, Engineer Qi and her husband went to see Grandpa Wu, asking him to introduce them to the people in the courtyard.
Of course, Grandpa Wu wouldn't refuse. He agreed and led the couple to visit each house.
