“Yes, that’s right.” Bling nodded.
"Could you please call out to my fellow Bling enthusiasts for me?" asked the postman.
Bling really didn't expect it to be her.
"I am Bling."
"Really? That's great! There's a letter and a package for you." The postman took a letter out of his bag and then a package from his bicycle.
"Give."
"Thank you, comrade." Sangshen quickly accepted it.
When the postman saw that Bling had taken the item, he let go of it, refused Bling's offer to come inside for a drink of water, and rode away on his bicycle.
"Where did these packages and letters come from?" Bling asked curiously.
"It's from Harbin Province." Sangshen looked at the sender's address: "It should be my aunt."
"Um?"
“The sender’s address is the town where my uncle served in the army,” Sangshen explained.
Bling became even more curious: "Let's go, let's go back inside and unpack the packages."
She let her pull on the mulberry.
Once inside, Buling put down the bamboo basket and eagerly unpacked the package. Inside was a drawstring cloth bag. Buling opened the bag to reveal a bright red sweater.
Buling washed her hands, took out the sweater, which felt soft and warm to the touch. It was bright red with a bright yellow sunflower on the chest. "It's so pretty! Did your aunt knit it? She's so skillful!"
They're on completely different levels.
Sangshen nodded: "It was knitted by my aunt. She's the most skillful. She knitted all the sweaters I wore when I was little."
Bling touched the letter again and again, reluctant to put it down, before finally opening it. The letter didn't say anything else, just wished her a Happy New Year, which made Bling very happy.
Receiving a gift is always a happy thing. "Should I give my aunt a gift in return?"
"But if we return the gift now, will it still arrive before the new year?" Bling hesitated.
Sangshen was pleased to see her close relationship with her family: "It's alright, as long as it's your heartfelt intention, your aunt will definitely like it."
Buling thought about it and agreed, but she didn't have any special talents. "Then what should I give her?"
Mulberry: "Anything is fine."
"How about this, I'll give your aunt a rabbit skin bag, plus a few rabbit skins?" Buling asked hesitantly, as she really didn't have anything worth giving.
She bought the rabbit skin for the bag from Xia Qingmei, designed it herself, and had it made by an old tailor.
"Sure, would you like to write another letter to your aunt?" Sang Shen's eyes were so gentle they could melt.
"Yes, I will."
In the afternoon, Bling mailed the letter and package before heading back to her family quarters. She had too much stuff to carry, so Sangshen escorted her home.
This time, Sangzhen could openly enter the family quarters and walk beside Buling.
After seeing Bling upstairs, Sangshen didn't stay long, but before leaving, she slipped Bling a brocade box: "Little Blackie, Happy New Year!"
Bling: "Are you asking for a beating?!"
Sangshen left behind a smug laugh, then strode away quickly with her long legs.
