Chapter 176 Obtaining the Marriage Certificate

Sangshen quickly shook his head: "Wait a minute, I'm going to wash my hair." He was joking; he had finally gotten the title he was looking forward to, how could he allow it to be postponed?

Two hours later, Sangshen, looking refreshed, rode her bicycle with Buling on the back towards the Civil Affairs Bureau.

There's no such thing as a separate Civil Affairs Bureau yet; everyone goes to the Civil Affairs Bureau to get their marriage certificates.

When the two arrived at the location, Sangshen led Buling to the office they had inquired about beforehand.

These days, getting a marriage certificate isn't complicated; you can just take the letter of introduction and go directly to get the certificate.

After the staff filled in the couple's information and confirmed it, they presented them with an award—oops! A marriage certificate: "You two are a perfect match."

Sangshen grinned from ear to ear: "Thank you, big sister, please have some candy." He was rich and happy, and not stingy at all, he grabbed a big handful of candy for his big sister, more than ten pieces at a glance.

The eldest sister's eyes brightened a little, and she took out a few more tickets from the drawer: "Here, these are your wedding benefits: seven feet of cloth tickets, two catties of sugar tickets, and one thermos ticket."

Buling's eyes lit up. This was a pleasant surprise! They even gave her an invoice for her wedding. She quickly accepted it, saying, "Thank you, sister."

When a pretty young girl called her "sister," the older woman's expression softened even more. "You're such a beautiful girl, young man. You're so lucky."

“I think so too.” Sangshen smiled, revealing a set of small white teeth.

After saying goodbye to the talkative older sister, Buling walked out of the Civil Affairs Bureau with the certificate in her hands. Facing the glaring sun, she felt a little dazed. Was she really getting married?

Before she could even express her feelings, the certificate in her hand was snatched away. Sangzhen carefully put the marriage certificate away, saying, "I'll keep it safe."

Seeing Sangshen's serious expression, Buling suddenly remembered a joke she had seen in her past life. What was it again? "Make sure to keep your marriage certificate safe, or you'll have trouble getting a divorce later."

However, judging from Sang Shen's delighted, silly expression, she was probably overthinking it.

"Hey, let's take a picture?" Buling suggested.

Mulberry readily agreed: "Okay!"

The two hit it off immediately and agreed to go to the photo studio together.

Inside the photo studio, Buling and Sangshen sat upright on a long bench, a fist's distance between them, their hands on their knees, looking at the camera in front of them.

"Come on, are you ready? I'm going to start filming."

Buling and Sangs nodded at the same time.

"3, 2..."

"Mulberries!" Bling called softly.

"Hmm?" Sangshen turned his head in confusion and saw Buling's radiant smile. He couldn't help but smile as well.

"...1, click!"

The scene froze, and Sangshen came to her senses, looking at Buling's sly smile, her eyes overflowing with doting affection.

"Alright, come pick up the photos in a week," the old man at the photo studio said matter-of-factly.

The click of the camera triggered a deep-seated memory in Bling: "How about we take a few more pictures?" She wasn't short of money, so why should she make herself suffer?

"Okay!" Sang Shen agreed with her.

The two weren't in a hurry to leave. In the photo studio, they took one photo after another: solo photos of Bling, solo photos of Sangshen, and photos of the two of them together. They took more than ten photos before Bling finally had her fill.

Finally, the two left the photo studio satisfied. From this moment on, Bling was a married woman, and with an award certificate at that.

However, even though their relationship was legal, they still slept separately at night. Actually, it didn't bother Buling, but Sangshen was unwilling to do so; he didn't want Buling to feel wronged.

In his mind, only by taking vows in front of everyone could it be considered a marriage, and only then could it be considered that he had not wronged his little black girl.
