When Buyi heard the noise, he opened the door. Standing outside were Aunt Sang, Aunt Sang, and several other women.
“Brother-in-law, it’s been a long time. I was thinking that you don’t have any women in your family, so my aunt and I came to see if there was anything we could do to help,” Aunt Sang said cheerfully.
Buyi had indeed been worried about this matter. "Thank you so much, Auntie-in-law. This is a real lifesaver! Please come in, please come in!" Buyi quickly made way for the group to enter.
Aunt Sang gestured for the people behind her to go in first, "These are all my cousins-in-law, and their daughters-in-law, who have also come to help."
"My aunt-in-law's considerations are very thorough."
On the other side, Bu Ling, who heard the commotion in the yard, also opened her eyes. She lay on the eight-thousand-yuan bed for a while, lost in thought.
"Lingling, are you awake?" Aunt Sang knocked on the door.
"You're awake, Auntie!" Buling called out, opening the door to reveal Auntie Sang's beautiful, aloof face: "Good morning, Auntie!"
Aunt Sang smiled and said, "Come on, let your aunt do your makeup!"
Seeing the eagerness in her aunt Sang's eyes, Buling asked, "Auntie, shall I wash my face and brush my teeth first?"
Aunt Sang raised her wrist and glanced at the time: "Five minutes!"
Bling: ....
Does it have to be this strict?
Five minutes later, Buling sat upright in front of the dressing mirror, her eyes closed, letting Aunt Sang fiddle with her face.
Half an hour later: "Auntie, is it ready yet?"
Aunt Sang: "Almost there, almost there!"
Another hour passed: "Auntie, are you done?"
Aunt Sang finally applied lipstick to Buling, "All done! Mission accomplished!"
As soon as she finished speaking, Buling opened her eyes, and the person in the mirror also opened their eyes. Before, Buling was worried about what reason she should use to politely refuse if her aunt's cooking was not good.
Looking at herself in the mirror now, she realized that her worries were completely unnecessary. Aunt Sang's skills were even better than hers. She could achieve such an effect with limited materials. Aunt Sang was truly a craftswoman.
"Auntie, your cooking is amazing!" Buling didn't hold back her praise.
Aunt Sang raised an eyebrow, accepting the praise.
Then, Bu Ling turned around, and Aunt Sang and the others who were waiting in the house saw Bu Ling's appearance at this moment.
"Wow! Lingling looks just like a young lady from a noble family in a play when she's dressed like this," an aunt praised.
Bu Ling smiled shyly, pursing her lips.
"Alright, alright, it's almost time. Xiao Qi will be here soon. Lingling, come on, change into this dress." Aunt Sang took a dress out of her handbag.
This dress is a bit more elaborate than the one my aunt gave me before. It has a square neckline, puff sleeves, and is ankle-length. It is also embroidered with large yellow flowers.
"And this too!" Aunt Sang pulled out a pair of high heels.
"It looks so good, thank you Aunt and Auntie!" Buling really didn't know they had prepared this. She had originally planned to use a red dress that she had made herself, but that dress was quite ordinary and not nearly as pretty as her aunt's.
Upon seeing this, she abandoned the one she had prepared without hesitation.
Everyone else went out, leaving only Buling in the room to change her clothes. As Buling looked at the beautiful red dress on the Qian Gong canopy bed, her eyes suddenly reddened.
"Mom, I'm getting married. I've found a man who treats me very well, and I'm sure I'll be happy in the future."
There was no response from inside the room, and Buling needed someone to respond. After a long while, she picked up the red dress...
With a creak, the door opened, and everyone in the courtyard turned to look at it.
Bling walked out slowly, wearing a long, bright red dress that accentuated her snow-white skin. The striking contrast between red and white was eye-catching.
Under the sunlight, Bu Ling smiled broadly. This was the scene that Sang Shen saw when she brought her people to welcome the bride. He stood there, stunned.
"Hiss~" A little friend behind Sangs hissed softly.
This sound snapped Sang Shen out of his daze. He turned around and glared at the person, then put on a bright smile: "Lingling, I've come to pick you up!"
He walked up to Buling and reached out his hand to her. Just as Buling was about to put her hand on his, Aunt Sang pushed her into the house: "Xiao Qi, it's not that easy to get a wife. Come and let your aunt see your sincerity."
Sangshen glanced at her aunt, who was grinning maliciously, and gritted her teeth. "Aunt, which side are you on?"
What do you think?
Having no other choice, Sangshen could only whisper, "Auntie, please let me off this time. I'll figure out how to get you the tea set you want."
Aunt Sang remained unmoved.
Sangshen gritted her teeth and raised the price: "Add another set of writing brush, ink, paper, and inkstone."
"Deal!" Aunt Sang promptly stepped aside.
Next up are my aunt, my cousin's wife, and my cousin's sisters-in-law. The final challenge is between Buyi and Liang Boda.
Looking at the door so close to her, Sangzhen solemnly promised, "Brother, Brother Liang, I will definitely protect Lingling, cherish her, respect her, and let her live a happy and carefree life."
Buling gave Sangs a deep look, as if he could see into her heart. After a moment, he took two steps to the side.
Liang Boda gave Bu Yi a disappointed look, took a big step, blocked the doorway, and snorted, "I'm not that easy to deal with."
Mulberry smiled broadly: "Brothers, let's go!"
Liang Boda was confused, then he saw six young men behind Sang Shen rush forward and lift him up.
"Xiao Qi, hurry!"
"They're stealing my wife!"
Without hesitation, Sangshen pushed open the door and took two quick steps. There she saw Buling sitting on the bed in a red dress.
