After quickly finishing the housework, she carried the original owner's schoolbag and headed towards the school she remembered.
Two hours later, Buling stood at the school gate, leaning on his knees and panting heavily, his vision blurring from exhaustion.
Given that this body is malnourished and recovering from an illness, it's remarkable that Bu Ling was able to walk such a long distance; his perseverance is truly commendable.
After catching his breath, Bu Ling finally walked back to the classroom with his sore legs.
The original owner is sixteen years old this year, a sophomore in high school. It's spring now, and she will graduate from high school in the summer.
Stepping into the familiar Class 3 of Grade 11, Bu Ling walked to a corner, sat down, and observed her surroundings.
Because graduation was approaching, everyone was distracted from studying. Some chatted, some joked around, but everyone kept their distance from Buling, as if she didn't exist.
Bu Ling thought to herself, "No wonder the original owner didn't want to come back; he was in such a miserable state."
At lunchtime, students who lived far away took out their packed lunches and ate heartily, while those who lived nearby carried their schoolbags home for lunch.
Sitting in the corner, Bling rubbed her stomach, which was growling with hunger, and quietly left the classroom, finding a secluded spot.
She took out a steamed bun from her spatial storage, ate it in a few bites, and choked so badly that her eyes rolled back. She quickly took out a cup of water, poured it down her throat, and felt much better.
Fortunately, her spatial dimension accompanied her through the journey; otherwise, she would have either been burned to death or starved to death, as none of that family cared about her life or death.
She sat on the ground, resting her chin on her hand, gazing at the sky, pondering her future.
Based on the information she gathered that morning, she now only has two paths before her.
The first is to find a job, and the second is to go to the countryside.
Looking for a job, let's put aside whether we can find one or not. If we do find one, in that family, the job will definitely not fall into her lap. Besides, it's 1970 now, jobs aren't that easy to find.
That left only going to the countryside. The thought of going to the countryside and farming made Bu Ling feel a little depressed. In her previous life, she never lifted a finger and didn't suffer much even in the apocalypse.
Now that I've traveled through time, I've experienced all the hardships firsthand. Thinking about it, it's incredibly disheartening.
But even if she were to farm, she couldn't stay in this house anymore.
I've decided, I'll sign up tomorrow!
Go to the countryside, the sooner the better!
