Sangshen paused in taking off his military coat, sensing Buling's hostility. He tossed the coat aside and moved closer to Buling: "Lingling, what's wrong? Who upset you?"
Buling rolled her eyes at him, lowered her head and drank the bone broth in her bowl in one gulp, then stood up and went straight back into the house, completely ignoring Sangs.
Sangshen was completely bewildered by Buling's series of actions. Just then, Aunt Fang came in, and he quickly asked, "Aunt Fang, what's wrong with Lingling? Why is she unhappy?"
"Lingling is unhappy? No, she was quite happy just now." Aunt Fang wiped her hands on her apron. "Did you say something that upset Lingling?"

Bling was engrossed in playing with her fingers, seemingly oblivious to Sangs' words.
"And...and I secretly asked the doctor about the baby's gender." Sangshen revealed her biggest secret as if she had made up her mind.
"What!" Bling looked up abruptly, her eyes blazing with anger. "What do you mean? Preferring sons to daughters?"

Mulberry's pretty face was distorted from the push. Hearing Buling's words, he stopped struggling and, in that position, played the victim: "Ugh...it's all gone, ugh, it's all gone~"
"Think about it some more?" Bu Ling withdrew her hand. "I'll give you a hint: I ran into Xie Dong tonight."
