Aunt Zhao told Buling the news the next day when she came to cover for him.
"Aunt Zhao, congratulations on having a grandson!" Bu Ling was quite savvy, saying what she wanted to hear.
Aunt Zhao grinned so hard her teeth were showing: "Congratulations to you too!" As she spoke, she handed Bu Ling a piece of candy: "Little Bu, have some candy."

The three of them hadn't stayed long when Aunt Wu arrived, carrying lunch for Wu Yuanyuan. Seeing this, Bu Ling and the others tactfully said goodbye.
On the way back, Zhu Zhizhi suddenly said, "Yuanyuan is so lucky."
Buling frowned upon hearing her words, and was about to say something when Sister Ma interjected, "Little Zhu, you're not bad either."
Zhu Zhizhi smiled bitterly: "Sister Ma, you don't understand!"

He would definitely want a child with Lingling, but he still really wanted a daughter.
