Chapter 294 Buyi Helps

When Buling and her aunt returned, the three mulberry brothers were nowhere to be found.

Back home, Buling poured herself a glass of water and then poured one for her aunt. "Aunt, I have to go back to the compound tomorrow. If Xiaoxing is hungry, please make her some formula."

"Going back to the compound? Are you going to get something?" Auntie asked before drinking her water.

“It’s not going back to the tenement, it’s going back to the military compound. I need to talk to my brother about something,” Bu Ling explained.

"Oh, so you're going back to the military compound? Look at your aunt, she's getting old and her mind isn't working so well anymore." The aunt drank the water in her cup in one gulp.

"No, it's my fault for not explaining clearly." Bu Ling smiled and said, "It's getting late, Aunt, you should get some rest. I'm going back to sleep too."

"Go ahead, go ahead!" Aunt Sang waved her hand with a smile.

The following morning, after feeding her chubby daughter, Buling boarded the bus back to the military family compound.

Because the matter was urgent, she stopped directly at the gate this time: "Hello comrade, could you please help me?"

"Could you please call Commander Bu Yibu for me? Or Deputy Commander Liang would also be fine. I'm their sister, my name is Bu Ling." Bu Ling got straight to the point and stated her purpose.

The soldiers truly lived up to their reputation as the most lovable people. Upon hearing Buling's request, they agreed without hesitation and even took Buling to the guard post to shield her from the wind!

Bu Ling waited at the guard booth for about half an hour when Liang Boda rushed over like the wind: "Sister, sister!"

"I'm here!" Bu Ling walked out of the guard booth and waved to Liang Boda.

"Little sister, why are you in such a hurry? Did something happen? Tell your brother quickly!" Liang Boda circled around Bu Ling twice to make sure she wasn't injured before bombarding her with questions.

Bu Ling first answered Liang Boda's question: "I'm fine, I'm perfectly fine." Then she said: "Brother Liang, I have something urgent that I need your help with."

“Go ahead!” Liang Boda said readily.

Instead of speaking immediately, Bu Ling pulled Liang Boda a little further away, and only after confirming that they couldn't hear her did she recount Xie Dong's story, "Brother Liang, do you and my brother know anyone from the July 1st Farm?"

“We need to find a way to get Xie Dong to communicate with Uncle Xie, otherwise we’re afraid he won’t be able to hold on,” Bu Ling said worriedly. “He’s like a walking corpse now, he’ll eat whatever you give him, and he won’t eat if you don’t give him anything. It’s like his soul has been taken away.”

Hearing about what happened to Xie Dong, he couldn't help but frown. After hearing Bu Ling's request, he frowned and thought for a moment before shaking his head: "July 1st Farm?"

Bling nodded.

“I really can’t think of anything right now. How about this, little sister, Lao Bu is busy right now. I’ll go back and talk to him about it. We’ll come to your house tonight to talk, no matter how late it is. Remember to leave the door open for us.” Liang Boda said after thinking for a moment.

Then he suddenly remembered something: "Little sister, have you eaten?"

Bling shook her head: "I ate late this morning, so I'm not hungry yet."

Upon hearing this, Liang Boda disagreed, saying, "Even if you're not hungry, you still have to eat on time. Come on, I'll take you to the cafeteria to have a quick bite."

"No, Brother Liang, I'm going back now. I'll eat at home." Bu Ling didn't intend to stay any longer. "Perfect timing, the bus is here. I'll be going now, Brother Liang. I'll wait for you tonight!"

After greeting Liang Boda, Bu Ling jogged to the roadside, got into her car, and waved to Liang Boda: "Brother Liang, you can go back now, I'm leaving."

Liang Boda also waved.

In the evening, after dinner, Bu Ling put Xiao Xingxing to sleep and sat in the living room with her aunt to wait for Bu Yi and Liang Boda to arrive, chatting along the way.

"Aunt, are Sister-in-law Jiang's family members here today?"

Auntie, wearing reading glasses, sat under the lamp knitting a sweater: "Well, Xiao Jiang went back to her parents' home today, and the Jiang family arrived this afternoon."

"So what did they say?" Bling asked, winding yarn on the side.

"I don't know. No one else heard it. It was just Xiao Jiang's parents and Dongzi talking about it." Aunt shook her head.

"I hope they're not here to kick me when I'm down," Bu Ling sighed. "Otherwise, this is just another knife to Brother Xie's heart."

My aunt was also a little worried, but she said, "Dongzi is a strong person. He just hasn't figured it out yet. He'll be fine once he does."

"People will always encounter all sorts of obstacles, but you'll get through them!" Auntie sighed.

Buling agreed, "Hopefully. There's not much we can do right now; the rest is up to Brother Xie."

She understood this. In her previous life, when her mother died, she also lost the will to live. At that time, she felt that the world was bustling and there was nowhere she cared about.

The sound of brakes snapped Bling back to reality, and her eyes focused: "Is my brother here?"

Aunt put down what she was doing and stood up: "It should be. I heard some noise outside."

Sure enough, a moment later the doorman knocked, and then Bu Yi and Liang Boda pushed the door open and came in: "Lingling?"

"Brother, Brother Liang, you've arrived?" Bu Ling led the two into the house and sat them down. Aunt poured them a glass of water.

"Thank you, Auntie!"

"Thank you, Auntie!"

Aunt waved her hand: "You're welcome, you're welcome."

After they were seated, Bu Ling couldn't wait to ask, "Brother, how was it?"

Bu Yi didn't mince words: "I've contacted my comrades. I'm here now to ask Xie Dong for a letter or a token so that I can convince Xie Dong's parents."

"No problem!" Auntie agreed immediately and stood up quickly: "Xiaoqi is next door with Xie Dong. I'll go over there. Lingling, there are still some noodles in the kitchen. Can you make some noodles for Xiaobu and Xiaoliang?"
