After saying that, Bling ran towards the front yard with the speed of the wind.
The way he acted really made it seem like he missed Aunt Lan terribly.
Wu Yuanyuan and Ming Xiangru exchanged glances, then simultaneously followed behind Bu Ling.
"Grandma Lan~" Bu Ling called out affectionately.
The Blue Butterfly Grandma...
"Little Bu?"
"It's me, Aunt Lan! I heard you missed me, so I came back to see you~" Bu Ling said with a smile, hooking her arm around Aunt Lan's elbow.
Aunt Lan shifted uncomfortably a couple of times: "When did I miss you? I don't miss you at all!"
Bling indicated that he would not listen.
"Aunt Lan, stop being so stubborn. I've heard from others that you talk about me every day." She smiled kindly at Aunt Lan: "By the way, I heard you were mistreated in our hospital?"
"Come, come, tell me what happened, and I'll help you get revenge." She took the initiative and pulled Aunt Lan into the house.
She even tried to take the cloth bag from her hand, but Aunt Lan dodged it. She didn't insist, saying, "Come on, let's go inside and talk. It's so cold outside."
Aunt Lan, who couldn't get a word in edgewise: ...
"Little Bu, what you're doing..."
"What do you say, Aunt Lan?"
Bling was all smiles the whole time, without the slightest hint of impatience, but Aunt Lan just felt uneasy.
Don't think she doesn't know that the Xu guy in the backyard is related to Bu Ling. Maybe this girl is here to back her up today.
"Hey little Bu, I just remembered I still have some clothes to wash. How about another day?"
"No, Sister Wang Er has already washed all the clothes. Why would you need to do it?" Bu Ling remained unmoved, still clinging to Aunt Lan.
Before Aunt Lan could refuse, she added, "It's been almost half a year since we last saw each other, so we should catch up. How about I have lunch at your house today?" She smiled, revealing eight teeth.
"Oh, right, please don't make a big fuss about it. Let's just have a simple meal. Please don't order chicken or fish!" she kindly reminded her.
Grandma Lan's smile was almost gone. Chicken? Fish?
She struggled twice to pull her elbow away from Bu Ling's grasp: "Little Bu, Auntie's family is having a hard time, and she's not even eating lunch. What a coincidence!"
Upon hearing this, Bling feigned a frown: "Is that so?"
Grandma Lan propped up her old face and revealed a sincere look in her eyes.
Bling frowned, looking troubled. "Then..."
Aunt Lan's eyes gleamed, and she scoffed inwardly, "This little girl, trying to outdo her! She's still too green!"
"Then make an exception for me?" After a long pause, Bu Ling finally managed to utter this sentence.
Aunt Lan's smile vanished, and she could no longer maintain her composure: "Little Bu, a young lady shouldn't be so shameless?"
Bu Ling remained calm: "Aunt Lan, what makes you say that?"
Blue Butterfly said coldly, "You have no manners to go to other people's houses to freeload!"
"So you think it's good manners to covet other people's houses?" Bu Ling sullenly looked at Aunt Lan with the same drooping face.
"If you had just treated me to a nice meal, the house issue wouldn't have been so hard to discuss," she said, dropping a bombshell.
Grandma Lan turned around in surprise.
Bling grinned, "Now, it's too late!"
After uttering those four words, she turned and left. As she passed Ming Xiangru, she loudly asked, "Sister Xiangru, are you interested in my house?"
Ming Xiangru nodded quickly: "Of course!"
She reacted quickly, grabbing Buling's hand: "Come on, let's go home and talk. I still have some roe deer meat that a friend sent me."
Without turning her head, Bu Ling followed Ming Xiangru to the backyard.
"Hey, little Bu, little Bu!" Aunt Lan trotted after him, her face beaming with a fawning smile. "Little Bu, let's talk this over! Look at you, I was just joking with you, and you took it seriously!"
She grabbed Bu Ling's hand. "Xiao Ming, let's talk about the roe deer meat another day. Xiao Bu is having lunch at my house today."
Then he turned to Buling and said, "Little Buling, you're so lucky! Auntie will cook fish for you at noon. Her fish-cooking skills are absolutely amazing."
Everyone was amazed by Grandma Lan's incredible ability to change her expression, except for Bu Ling, who just looked at Grandma Lan with a half-smile.
Grandma Lan smiled kindly, looking at Bu Ling as if she were looking at her lifeblood; as for other people's opinions, they didn't matter!
Aunt Lan interpreted their reaction as jealousy. After all, it was a house, a wonderful house! What did her old face matter?
Feeling the eager gaze of Aunt Lan on her, Bu Ling subtly curled the corners of her lips: "But I don't really like eating fish~ It's such a hassle to pick out the bones!"
"No trouble at all, no trouble at all. I'll pick out the best for you, you just need to eat." Aunt Lan sounded just like that lackey.
"This isn't a good idea," Bling said, looking embarrassed.
"Why are you being so polite with me? I treat you like my own daughter," Aunt Lan said reproachfully.
Without giving Bling a chance to speak, they grabbed her and started walking back, and Bling followed along half-heartedly.
"Sister Buling?" Ming Xiangru called softly.
She genuinely wanted to rent the house in Bling. Anson and Amber were almost ten years old, and it would be inconvenient for them to continue living with their parents.
Now that Bling is planning to rent out this house, it's a real financial crisis for her family. However, she doesn't want to put Bling in a difficult position, so she's really torn.
Bu Ling had sharp ears and heard Ming Xiangru's voice. She turned around and gave her a reassuring look before happily following Aunt Lan home.
At Aunt Lan's house, Wang Aiguo and his brother were huddled together reading comic books. When they saw Buling come in, they quickly put down their books, stood at attention, and said in unison, "Hello, Sister Buling."
