She then looked at Wu Yuanyuan and asked, "Are there any other people in our compound who are rather complicated? Tell me about them all, so she won't suffer any more losses later."
Wu Yuanyuan didn't refuse: "Apart from these three families, everyone in our courtyard is quite nice. Oh, right, there's also Uncle Li in the backyard. You'd better not listen to his lectures, or he'll drive you crazy."
Bling: "What's wrong?"
Wu Yuanyuan shuddered as if she had thought of something terrible, and slowly said, "Uncle Li doesn't have any major flaws, but he's extremely chauvinistic. He believes that women should stay at home to support their husbands and raise their children, and be gentle and obedient in order to be considered girls."
She'd heard plenty of this nagging before; if it weren't for respecting her elders, she would have given up on him long ago.
"I understand, I'll definitely stay away from him from now on," Buling solemnly promised. She couldn't guarantee that if someone said those things to her, she could resist taking action.
It seems Wu Yuanyuan has a pretty good temper; she can even hold back from swearing. She's a good prospect to be a good friend.

After sharing these gossips, Bling gained a deeper understanding of the residents in the courtyard.
It was very late, and after finishing her conversation, Wu Yuanyuan went home.
Bling reminded her, "Don't forget to come with me to the state-run restaurant tomorrow."
Wu Yuanyuan stood at the door and smiled, "I know!"
After Wu Yuanyuan left, Buling locked the door, drew the curtains, washed up quickly, and lay down on the bed.
Thinking to myself, this courtyard sounds like it has quite a few oddballs: the innocent Jiang Hua, the shady widow Liu Saozi, the two old women Lan Chen and Lu Bu Zi, the old but young-at-heart Grandpa Wang, and the elderly couple Grandpa Qian and Grandma Tian in their twilight years.
Finally, Bu Ling sighed, "It's a small temple with a lot of evil spirits, and a shallow pond with many turtles."
When she rented the apartment, Sister Wang from the neighborhood office told her that the neighbors were all easy to get along with. And they really were!
However, she was also quite happy, because this way, her days wouldn't be boring.
Doesn't a mundane life sometimes need a little spice?
