Chapter 370 I was here

After tossing and turning for most of the night, Bu Ling finally fell into a deep sleep.

As expected, I overslept the next day.

She calmly washed up and ate breakfast.

"Little Star, let's go, we're going to Great-Grandpa's house!" Bling called out.

Little Star came running from the yard into the house, "Mommy, here you go." The little girl held up her little hands proudly.

Bling stared intently and exclaimed, "Holy crap!"

In her chubby little hands, the girl held a small snake that was still thrashing about.

Her eldest daughter was still foolishly holding up her hand, presenting a treasure to her mother.

"Mom, this worm is so long." Little Star's innocent smile touched Bling's heart.

Buling looked at her daughter's little face, then at the tiny snake in her daughter's hand, then looked up at the sky, took a deep breath, and smiled like a loving mother: "My dear daughter, come here, give the worm to Mommy."

I wonder if this snake is poisonous?

Little Star wasn't a selfish child; upon hearing Bling's words, he raised his hand forward.

Bling picked up his chopsticks, used them to pick up the small snake, took the milk bottle, and stuffed the snake inside.

After doing all this, she finally had time to explain to her daughter, "This isn't an insect, it's called a snake."

The little girl tilted her head adorably, her sweet, childlike voice full of doubt: "Snake?"

Bling sealed the milk bottle tightly: "Yes, snakes, poisonous, you'll die if you get bitten."

"Huh?" The girl's eyes widened in surprise.

The next second, she screamed and frantically shook her hands.

Her reaction startled Buling. She quickly put down the bottle, rushed forward, grabbed her daughter's hand, and said anxiously:

"Where did you get bitten? Let Mom take a look." She held her daughter's hand and examined it from all angles.

As a result, apart from being a little dirty and filthy, there wasn't a single wound.

"Mommy, I'm dirty," Little Star said pitifully.

Bling: ....

She pinched her daughter's cheek hard: "You scared your mother to death!"

Little Star insisted, "Mommy, I'm dirty."

Buling pulled her daughter along and washed her hands clean. "Okay, they're not dirty anymore."

Little Star stamped her feet anxiously, "Mommy, I'm dirty!"

Bling knew what her daughter meant. "Then how about Mommy makes you clean?"

After saying that, she made a delicate gesture with her fingers, shook her hand, and tapped her daughter's hand three times with a "biubiubiu~" gesture.

"Okay, it's clean now."

Now, it was Sang Mianmian's turn to be speechless.

"Mom, I'm just young, not stupid." Mom is really too childish.

Bling chuckled awkwardly twice: "Get lost, you brat."

"Mom, you're being unreasonable!" the little girl complained.

Bling ignored him, cleared the dishes into the kitchen, and then took the milk bottle with her: "I'm leaving, I'll take you to your great-grandfather's house."

Little Star ran up to Bu Ling, looking up with her adorable smiling face: "Mom, I don't want to go to Great-Grandpa's house today."

Buling: "Then I'll send you to school?"

Little Star's smile became even more ingratiating: "Mom, I'll go to work with you!"

Bling crossed his arms and looked at her with a half-smile.

"Okay, okay, it's all because of Liu Xiaofeng. He's always keeping an eye on me, and I can't shake him off. It's so annoying."

"Mom~ Mom~ Please take me with you~"

The little girl grabbed Bu Ling's arm and shook it back and forth, acting coquettishly.

Bu Ling narrowed his eyes. "Who is Liu Xiaofeng?"

Little Star pouted and said, "What an annoying person!"

Seeing her daughter like this, Buling asked curiously, "What kind of annoying girl is she?"

"He's such a jerk!" The little girl's expression was full of indignation.

Bling became even more curious: "Oh? Then tell Mom, what's so annoying about that person?"

Little Star hesitated, refusing to say, "Mom, please take me with you! Please!"

Bling's arm was shaking so hard it felt like it was about to break: "Okay, okay, I'll take you, I'll take you."

It's rare for her daughter to make a request, so how could this good mother refuse?

"Yes, Mom is the best."

Bu Ling: "Hehe."

Her daughter has used this phrase so much.

"So-and-so is the best" is her daughter's usual way of coaxing people.

Little Star didn't care about anything else. She excitedly slung her army green backpack over her shoulder and said, "Mom, let's go."

Helpless, Bu Ling put on her coat and drove her daughter to work.

It was already 9:30 when we arrived at the Cultural Heritage Bureau.

However, no one objected to Bling's lateness; instead, they all looked at the pink little dumpling at Bling's feet.

"Comrade Xiao Bu, what's this?" Grandma Liu asked in confusion.

"My daughter!"

Little Star opened her clear, big eyes and looked directly at the people who had gathered around her. "Hello, Grandma, my name is Little Star, and my full name is Sang Mianmian."

Grandma Liu, wearing her reading glasses, thought, "What a clever little girl."

"Thank you, Grandma."

Aunt Sun also gathered around, looking at Little Star with admiration: "Comrade Xiao Bu, your daughter is so cute, is she engaged yet?"

"Aunt Sun, my daughter is only six years old," Bu Ling said helplessly.

I mean, this guy is truly worthy of being called 007; his disguise is flawless.

Aunt Sun looked at Little Star with such tenderness that it could melt your heart; just looking wasn't enough, she even reached out to touch him.

Once the first person got the hang of it, the rest of the group stopped being reserved and started patting Little Star's face.

Although Little Star wasn't very happy, he still politely refrained from interrupting.

However, Buling was, after all, her own mother. She pulled her daughter out of the crowd and said, "Grandma Liu, I'll take my daughter inside first."

Grandma Liu waved her hand and watched the mother and daughter enter the house with loving eyes.
