They completely forgot that when that incident happened, the little genius was only two years old and still a child who didn't understand anything.
Later, Liu's father had another child, making Liu Xiaotian's situation in the Liu family even more difficult.
Seeing Bu Ling's expression, Sang Shen carefully said, "Actually, that kid surnamed Liu doesn't live a bad life."
Liu's father has his own home and doesn't come back to the compound often. Only Liu Xiaotian and Commander Liu, grandfather and grandson, live together in the compound.
It's Chinese New Year, so Liu's father just came back.
Bling glared at him: "What do you know?"
How important is a child's childhood?
If Liu Xiaotian hadn't experienced the cold stares of the world and his father's disgust at such a young age, would he have developed such a personality?
Sangshen ingratiatingly poured him a glass of water: "Yes, yes, I don't understand."
Bling gave a soft snort and said nothing more.

"Look, waiting for the water to boil." Sangshen pointed to the kettle on the stove.
Aunt Fang tied on her apron. "You can go out now. I'll call you when the water boils."
"Thank you for your help, Aunt Fang."
Bling pulled Sangshen out of the kitchen, glanced at the two children hunched over the dining table doing their homework, and nudged Sangshen: "Go and get the apples out of the house. We'll make some candied apples for the kids tonight."
"Take them all down?"
"Take them all down."
No one from the Liu family came looking for Liu Xiaotian until after dinner, and Bu Ling didn't mention sending him back either.
After dinner, she called Fang's wife and started preparing a room for Liu Xiaotian: "Xiaotian, you can stay at Auntie's house tonight. I'll have your Uncle Sang go to your house to let him know later."
Liu Xiaotian: "I won't trouble you, Auntie. I'd better go home and sleep."
"Be good." Bu Ling grabbed Liu Xiaotian, who was about to leave, and pulled him to her daughter's side: "Mianmian, keep an eye on Xiaotian, okay?"
Having been forced to do homework all afternoon, little Sang Mianmian was still pouting as she awkwardly walked up to Liu Xiaotian: "Liu Xiaotian, shall we play Connect Four?"
Liu Xiaotian was dragged away, and only then did Bu Ling go to make the bed with satisfaction.
