Chapter 417 Nanny

Grandpa Sang's funeral was a grand affair. When Uncle Sang, his younger brother, and his aunt returned after receiving the news, they were greeted by Grandpa Sang's body.

The three of them cried so hard they could barely stand, but the person was already gone, and no matter how heartbroken they were, they couldn't feel it anymore.

Finally, Aunt Sang cried until she fainted, and was forcibly helped upstairs to rest by Bu Ling and Sheng Ruowei.

The old man's funeral was a grand affair, with countless people coming to pay their respects.

But for loved ones, none of that matters anymore.

After the funeral, Brother Sang, following the old man's instructions, divided his belongings into seven parts, one for each person.

As for the box given to Mianmian, I only mentioned it briefly.

Fortunately, the Sang brothers were united and had no objections.

This was just a trivial matter during the funeral, and no one paid much attention to it.

The funeral lasted for three days.

Three days later, the old man's body was taken to the Martyrs' Cemetery for burial, right next to the old woman's, which fulfilled his wish.

After seeing the old man off, I returned home.

Looking at the familiar house, for some reason, everyone felt a sense of emptiness and desolation.

But clearly only one person is missing.

Everyone was immersed in grief and no one spoke. After a while, Uncle Sang was the first to get up and go upstairs to his room.

Afterwards, Uncle Sang and his wife, along with Aunt Sang, also went back into the house.

This is their last day in the compound. The old man has passed away, and tomorrow this compound will no longer belong to them.

This home holds many of their memories and joys, but rules are rules.

In order not to cause trouble for the country, they need to clean out the house as soon as possible, especially their personal belongings, taking everything they can with them.

The next generation of the Sang family are all very successful, each with their own place to live. As for those who don't even have a place in the capital, they all went back to the courtyard house in Sangshen and Buling.

Fang's wife is the same.

She had been with the old man for half her life, and now she was getting old. The old man was still worried about her before he passed away, and she couldn't let him rest in peace even in the afterlife.

For several days, the Sang family was still in shock.

However, life had to go on, and they each had their own work and lives.

The first to leave was Brother Sang, who received orders to return to his unit.

Before leaving, I kowtowed at my grandfather's grave, and then boarded a plane and left.

However, Sister-in-law Sang left, only departing after the seventh day after the old man's death.

After the seven-day mourning period, the Sang family members left one after another.

Only a few people remained who had settled in Kyoto.

Gradually, life returned to normal.

Bling also perked up.

There's no other way; she has to pull herself together. There are still three people in her family who are deeply grieving.

Let's not even talk about Sang Mianmian. This is the first time in the young girl's life that she has faced separation, and the kind that means never seeing each other again.

And it was her great-grandfather who loved her the most, so she needed time, which was understandable.

There's also Aunt Fang, who I heard has been with the old man since she was in her twenties, and it's been thirty years now.

Thirty years of companionship, and then suddenly he's gone. It's normal to not be able to get over it.

The last one is Sangshen. He was the most favored by the old man and was the most sentimental. Now that his grandfather is gone, it is only natural that he is sad.

With three depressed people in the family, Buling could only force herself to detach herself from her grief, offering comfort, advice, and care for those in need.

After these past few days, Buyi felt extremely distressed seeing this.

That evening, when he returned home, he saw his tired-looking sister and called out to her, "Lingling, don't bother anymore, I've already eaten."

Bling sat back down, rubbing her forehead.

These past few days, she's had to worry about things at home, as well as the bookstore and coffee shop; she's been working non-stop every day.

This gave her, who was used to being a lazy bum, a terrible headache.

“Lingling, I have a comrade’s younger sister who wants to find a job. How about we let her come and try it out at our house for a while?” Bu Yi stood behind Bu Ling and rubbed her head.

Bling knew exactly what her brother meant. She leaned back on the sofa and sighed, "Call them over."

After thinking for a moment, she added, "Does that person have any close friends? Let's invite them too."

This huge courtyard house was nothing to me before, but I realized how much work it was to clean it up.

They used to live in just a few rooms, and the other rooms weren't cleaned even once a month.

They are all clean people, and they tidy up their own rooms, so they don't feel like there's much work to do.

But wasn't this the case before? Brother Sang and the others stayed here for a few days. After they left, Buling cleaned up and almost broke her back from exhaustion.

Her brother was right; it's time to hire a nanny.

“Ideally, they should be good cooks,” Bling added.

Bu Yi chuckled softly, "I understand."

Buyi acted quickly; on the third day, the two nannies were brought before Buling.

Seeing the two nervous people, Bu Ling first poured them a glass of water, then sat down opposite them and observed them discreetly.

Buyi is very meticulous. Both of them are women in their forties. At this age, they are efficient at their work and wouldn't have any ulterior motives.

The person on the left is the younger sister of the comrade-in-arms that Buyi mentioned. She is holding a cup and sitting there somewhat awkwardly.

"I... I can do any job. I can work for a few days without pay." It's clear that she really needs this job.

It was almost 1990, and she was still wearing clothes patched upon patched, and they were faded from washing.

Bling glanced at her politely. Indeed, although the person was poorly dressed, there was no dirt under her fingernails, her hair was neatly combed, and her teeth were clean.
