Chapter 5 The principal took me to climb over the wall

After saying that, she added, "I'm not afraid of scrutiny, but please pass this message out as soon as possible, because my stepfather may have some suspicions. He followed me to school all the way here this afternoon."

The principal gave her a deep look, then picked up the phone and dialed a number.

"Get me to the General Staff Headquarters compound."

Bu Ling was startled, surprised. The General Military Compound was no ordinary military compound; it housed figures of division commander rank and above.

Very good!

You made the right bet!

The principal is really awesome!

After the principal finished explaining the situation, he said something on the other end and then hung up the phone.

Then, looking at Buling, he said, "You'll come with me in a bit!" It wasn't a question, it was a statement.

"But my stepfather might still be outside."

The principal didn't say anything, but led her out of the principal's office and towards the back of the classroom.

Bling quickened her pace to catch up with him, and asked in a low but rapid voice, "Principal, does our school have a back gate?"

Without turning his head, the principal said, "No!"

So what are they doing?

Soon, she knew where they were going. Looking at the low wall in front of her, she looked at the principal with disbelief.

The principal, slightly embarrassed, cleared his throat and said, "This wall is easy to climb over."

Bling became even more suspicious

Does the principal probably climb over the wall frequently?

The principal fell silent, took two running steps, and jumped onto the wall.

Bling: "..."

It seems, probably, possibly, maybe she can't climb up.

After the principal climbed over the wall, he looked down at Buling, who was standing there dumbfounded, paused for a moment, and then jumped down again.

He first lifted Bling up, and then climbed up himself.

Buling: QAQ

She disgraced the time travelers.

After jumping off the wall, the two waited for a while before seeing an old-fashioned jeep slowly stop in front of them.

The principal opened the car door and gestured for Buling to get in.

Without hesitation, Bling stepped into the jeep and sat in the back seat.

After the principal sat down, she asked in a low voice, "Principal, isn't this too conspicuous? My stepfather..." She didn't finish her sentence, but gave the principal a knowing look.

The principal did not answer.

The person in the front passenger seat smiled and said, "Little girl, don't worry, your stepfather won't find out."

Bling was curious about why they were so confident, but after observing them for a while, she realized that they had taken a detour.

She actually asked such a simple question.

As expected, time travel doesn't improve intelligence.

But we can't reduce it either!
