Seeing her like this, Sangshen said in a low voice, "Let's do it outside." It would be inconvenient to do it at the police station; it would be easy for them to find fault with us.

Mulberry sneered: "Get lost!"
"Brother Sang, how could you do this to me? Did...did Sister Buling say something? I know we don't get along, please let me explain, I didn't..."

Bu Ling slapped Jiang Hua, interrupting him.
Old Mrs. Shen refused to continue.

This time, it was Grandpa Qian who slapped Granny Shen.
Grandpa Qian's eyes were bloodshot, and he stared at Granny Chen and her daughter as if he wanted to devour them.
Seeing his expression, Granny Chen was a little scared and took a step back. She immediately realized what was happening and said, "Qian Dashan, you spineless man, you actually hit me! You dare to hit me!"

It was still dark, and there wasn't a single pedestrian on the road; only the moon bore witness to everything.
Ahead, Wu Yuanyuan and Grandpa Wu were talking quietly, and Grandpa Wu was listening patiently. It was rare for the father and daughter to have such a good talk.
Behind them, Buling pondered how to teach Jiang Hua a lesson he would never forget, while Sangshen kept an eye on the little black girl out of the corner of her eye.
Thinking back to what he had just witnessed that evening, he was terrified. For so many years, everything had gone smoothly for him, except with Xiao Hei Niu. He had so many thoughts about her, yet he dared not voice them.
If anything were to happen to Little Black Girl, he couldn't guarantee what he might do.
The nerd said he was the same kind of person as his brother at heart—seemingly indifferent to everything, but once their sore spot was touched, they would go crazy and no one could stop them.
He used to scoff at the idea, thinking bookworms were blind, but after tonight, he believed it. He genuinely had the urge to kill Qian Xingyan; if Xiao Hei Niu hadn't taken the stick away at the last minute, he might have actually beaten Qian Xingyan to death.
At that moment, he had no other thoughts in his mind but the little black girl's pale face. She was so dark-skinned, yet she still looked pale; it was clear she was terrified.
As soon as the four stepped into the courtyard, they were greeted by a whole house of neighbors, some squatting, some sitting in the front yard. Their eyes lit up like light bulbs when they saw them return.
"Old Wu, what's going on?" Aunt Wu asked.
"Jiang Hua instigated Qian Xingyan to search Bu Ling's room for foreign language books in the middle of the night." Wu Yuanyuan summarized the whole story in one sentence.
