Chapter 83 Liang Boda Returns, Bu Yi is in Danger

When the gate was knocked on, Bling heard the noise and turned over in annoyance.

Who is it, in the middle of the night, announcing a death?

She buried her head under the pillow and continued to sleep.

But then, there was a knock on her door.

Bling snapped her eyes open, about to unleash a torrent of curses, when she heard someone knocking on the door outside.

"Little sister, little sister, wake up!"

This sounds like Liang Boda's voice.

Bu Lingtang sat up abruptly, ran barefoot to the door. Liang Boda was back. Had Bu Yi returned too?

She opened the door and looked at the tall figure outside.

"Liang Boda? Brother Liang?"

"Little sister, come with me!" The newcomer, Liang Boda, grabbed Bu Ling without saying a word and tried to pull her away.

"Brother Liang, what's wrong? What's the matter? Why are you in such a hurry?" Bu Ling reached out and turned on the light.

Only then did I see that Liang Boda looked utterly disheveled, with a unkempt beard, wrinkled clothes, and bloodshot eyes.

At this moment, the neighbors who had been woken up also turned on their lights. Sangshen even opened her door, came out, and stood next to Buling, adopting a protective stance.

Seeing that Bu Ling was barefoot, he quickly got her slippers: "Put your shoes on!"

Bling obediently put it on

Liang Boda sensed something was off about the atmosphere, but now wasn't the time to talk about it.

"Little sister, something's happened to Old Bu, you have to come with me!" With that, Liang Boda grabbed Bu Ling and started to walk out.

"What?"

"Brother Liang, what happened to my brother? Where is he now? What exactly happened? Tell me quickly!"

When Bu Ling heard that Bu Yi was in trouble, her mind went blank for a moment. After recovering, she quickly asked him questions.

At this moment, the neighbors heard the commotion and got up to check.

"Old Bu has been unconscious at the Kyoto Hospital for half a month. I came here to take you there to see if we can awaken his will to live," Liang Boda explained clearly.

Upon hearing that it had been half a month, Bu Ling knew how serious the situation was. He swayed for a moment, then immediately steadied himself and said, "Let's go, let's go now."

This time, it was Bu Ling's turn to pull Liang Boda forward. She didn't care about anything else now; all she knew was that Bu Yi couldn't die. Bu Yi was her only family in this world.

Buyi was her brother, and he was the first warmth she felt after transmigrating.

Liang Boda stumbled as he was pulled, but immediately followed.

Sangshen also heard what Liang Boda said. Seeing Buling's figure, she immediately followed, taking two steps before stopping to lock the house for Buling. Then she said to Grandpa Wu...

"Uncle Wu, could you please ask Wu Yuanyuan to ask Bu Ling for leave tomorrow?"

Grandpa Wu nodded readily.

Sangshen then said to Dabao, "Brother Dabao, could you please tell Sister Mo to tell my brother that I've gone to Kyoto and to call him when I arrive?"

Saying that didn't mean Da Bao agreed. He went back inside, grabbed his bicycle, and followed them.

He's worried about Xiao Hei Niu's current condition, so it's better for her to stay with him.

Bu Ling forced herself to calm down and dragged Liang Boda towards the train station. All she wanted now was to see Bu Yi as soon as possible.

The train station was about seven or eight miles from the courtyard house, a journey that usually took thirty minutes by bike. But now, Bu Ling's small frame burst forth with tremendous energy, dragging Liang Boda along, and they ran to the train station in forty minutes.

The staff on night shift at the train station only saw two figures flash by; upon closer inspection, they could only make out two figures, one tall and one short, from behind.

When Bling arrived at the ticket window, he said to the staff, "Two train tickets to Kyoto, the one for the earliest available train."

"Letter of introduction!" the staff member said emotionlessly.

Buling was taken aback; she had forgotten that in this era, a letter of introduction was still required for travel.

Seeing that Bu Ling was stunned, the staff member said, "You can't buy a train ticket without a letter of introduction."

Bu Ling turned to look at Liang Boda, who was even more bewildered than she was.

The two looked at each other.

Liang Boda said, "I'll go back and open it for you. You should rest for a bit."

Before Bling could answer, Sangshen arrived on her bicycle.

"The letter of introduction is with me!" He jumped off his bicycle, parked it haphazardly by the roadside, and ran towards Buling while pulling a letter of introduction from his bag.

He specifically asked a staff member from the neighborhood committee to open this shop before he came.

In the middle of the night, he went to the neighborhood committee director's house and banged on the door, and got a letter of introduction, so he's only just arrived now.

Seeing that Sangshen was covered in sweat, Buling didn't have time to say thank you before snatching the letter of introduction: "Two train tickets to Kyoto, the earliest one."

"Three, three sheets!" Mulberry added, panting heavily.

Bling glanced back at him, saw the reassurance in his eyes, felt a warmth in her heart, and said again, "Three train tickets."

The staff didn't hesitate upon seeing the letter of introduction and promptly handed Buling three train tickets.

"The next train will pass by here in half an hour and stop for twenty minutes. Hurry up and get on the train. This train will stop in Kyoto for about an hour, so don't miss it."

Buling nodded and was about to take out his money when a large hand handed the money to the staff member.

The hand was well-proportioned, fair, and slender—clearly a hand that had been pampered. Without even turning around, Bu Ling knew whose hand it was. She paused, then abandoned her attempt to take out her money.

She was still asleep when she was woken up, and she's still wearing her pajamas and slippers. She shouldn't have taken out the money; she can't explain where it came from.

You can't say she sleeps with money in her arms, can you?

After receiving their train tickets, the three found chairs in the waiting room and sat down. Buling then said, "Thank you, Mulberry!"

Sangshen chuckled lightly, "With our relationship, why are you being so polite with me?" He'd already considered the little black girl his future wife; wasn't taking care of her the proper thing to do?
