"Hey, we're neighbors!" Aunt Wu waved her hand and went back to her house.
Bling took the thermos, found two enamel mugs, rinsed them with hot water, and poured a cup of hot water for each of them.
"Brother, Brother Liang, why don't you have dinner before you leave? I'll go to the state-run restaurant to buy some dishes later, it'll be convenient for me."
Liang Boda and Bu Yi exchanged a glance: "No, let's go back to the base to eat. Xiao Wang is waiting."
Seeing Bu Ling's disappointed expression, Bu Yi immediately said, "I'll come see you in a few days."
Liang Boda nodded. It wasn't that they didn't want to eat there, but they genuinely had many things to take care of, the most important of which was the distribution of the compensation to their twenty-nine comrades. They needed to go back and keep an eye on it.

That's how it is in a courtyard house; if someone brings back some local specialties from a trip, they'll share them with the neighbors.
There were also some pastries, canned malted milk powder, and other snacks, all stored in a box that the old carpenter had given her when she bought furniture. Later, she bought a lock and used it as a snack cabinet.
The rest were some small items, like headbands, hair ties, scarves, and yarn, the latter being what she planned to use for learning to knit.
After tidying up the bags, I lit the coal stove, boiled some water, wiped the room inside and out, and changed the sheets and blankets, setting them aside to wash tomorrow morning.
The blanket she's currently using is from her spatial dimension; it's a particularly cute, girly pink. To avoid drawing attention, she deliberately used her less-than-perfect handiwork to sew two duvet covers.
All of them are dark-colored, so they're dirt-resistant and opaque—they're extremely useful!
