Chapter 96 The First Orange in Winter



"Hey, hey, I haven't paid you for the oranges yet," Bling quickly called out to him.

Sangshen didn't stop walking, and waved her hand with her back to Buling: "This is for you."

Looking at the boy's tall and slender figure, Buling couldn't help but smile. After Sangshen went inside, Buling closed the door as well.

Seeing the cloth bag on the table made me incredibly happy. I put the bag in the cupboard, locked the door, fastened the safety bolt, lay down on the bed, and drifted off to sleep with a smile on my face.

This bed is so cold! I wish I had stocked up on electric blankets back in my past life; I wouldn't be having to endure this now.

Oh well, you can't buy knowing things for free.

She slept straight through until evening. When Bling opened her eyes and looked at the dark ceiling, she was reluctant to get up, even after finally warming the blankets.

She lingered for a while, even more reluctant to get up, but her stomach was growling. Luckily, she had a spatial storage space. She took out a meat bun from it, which she had steamed herself a while ago using flour from her space. Just as she took a bite, she heard a knock at the door.

"Buling, are you awake? Get up and eat something before you go back to sleep," Sangshen said, knocking on the door.

Bling resignedly put the buns into her spatial storage, then rinsed her mouth. "Here they come!"

She opened the door and saw Sangshen's smiling face outside; immediately, all her emotions vanished.

"I made beef stew with carrots, want some?"

"Yes!" Bling said decisively, knowing that beef was a rare treat these days. "Come in."

Sangshen's smile widened. Over time, he had discovered that the little black girl was essentially a foodie; she was incredibly easy to talk to as long as there was something delicious to eat.

This is good, this is good. Now I'll know how to make up if we argue in the future.

Wait, why is it him who's comforting the little black girl? She likes him so much, shouldn't she be the one comforting him?

He's a proud boy; how could he easily bow his head?
