"What?!" Bling's eyes widened. "Really?"
Aunt Lan raised her chin demurely: "Of course it's true, I heard it with my own ears."
Bu Ling still felt it was a bit surreal. Old Mrs. Zheng in the backyard—she had lived in the compound for so long, she couldn't say she knew her very well, but she did know her to some extent.
It is said that Mrs. Zheng lost her husband early in life and had no sons. She was kicked out by her husband's family and had to wander with her two daughters.
