Chapter 118 Holding Hands

Bling: Well-reasoned and supported by evidence

"Okay, then we'll come back to buy more next time. We'll also buy more eggs; it's Chinese New Year, so let's just splurge this once."

Sang Shen wiped a bead of sweat from her brow: "You're right." Women really are terrifying when they go shopping.

The next few stalls weren't anything special, and just as we were about to reach the end, there was another commotion ahead—it was the same group of people from before.

This time, Bling saw clearly that the person running ahead was a small, thin boy.

Bling gave Mulberry a wink.

Neither of them were good people, and Sangshen immediately understood what Buling meant. He subtly moved closer to the center.

As the boy passed by, she quietly stuck out her foot.

The boy, caught off guard by someone sticking out a foot, tripped and fell forward, exactly in the same position as Bling had just taken.

Sang Shen, on the other hand, remained remarkably calm, as if he had only taken a couple of steps. Even when the boy fell beside him, he merely glanced at him, then stepped aside, as if he hadn't been the one who had just stuck his foot out.

The two men chasing the boy saw him trip and immediately rushed forward, pinning him to the ground: "Han Minghui, we've got you now, huh? You stole something!"

Bu Ling paused. Han Minghui? Isn't that the male lead's eldest son, the one who'll get into Peking University and become a domineering CEO?

Stealing?

The boy pursed his lips and remained silent, looking like a stubborn man.

The two men ignored his behavior, each holding one of Han Minghui's arms, and walked out of the market. Wherever they went, the crowd parted to make way for them and stared at them.

Bu Ling answered without hesitation, describing how that unfortunate novel described Han Minghui, one of the most outstanding young entrepreneurs of our time. A graduate of Peking University's Finance Department, he displayed a talent for business from a young age, a true business prodigy.

That's it?

A business prodigy?

She must be a genius thief.

Could this damn novel have been written by Han Minghui? Otherwise, how could he so shamelessly distort the facts and boast about himself?

This was just a minor incident that went unnoticed by anyone. There were plenty of pickpockets at the market every year, and Bling would only make a few complaints; anyway, that unfortunate novel was a long way off for her.

Mulberry didn't take it to heart; in his mind, it was just about venting his anger for the little black girl.

After walking around the whole market, it was getting late: "Let's go back, we're a little hungry."

Wu Yuanyuan: Me too, let's go back then.

Neither of the two men objected, and the four of them walked heavily toward the bus station. They had agreed beforehand that they wouldn't need to travel together on the way back.
