"Teacher~"
Wang Shuning stared at the North Vietnamese scout No. 2. After he saw him eat the compressed biscuits, he picked up the compressed biscuits on the ground and handed them to Feng Guoqiang, whispering, "Eat quickly."
Feng Guoqiang glanced at Wang Shuning, opened his mouth and bit it, it was so hard.
Wang Shuning looked worried. It seemed that they would have to travel further at night.
The warships and ships that searched for Wang Shuning and others in the four directions of Jinshan Island chased them for a whole day, but no trace of the ships was found on the sea.
When the news got back to Jinshan Island, Feng Yunhao, who was sitting next to the phone, could no longer remain calm.
"Get out of the way. I want to see Lao Feng. Everyone, get out of the way and let me in."
A woman's angry shouting was heard outside the office.
Feng Yunhao quickly stood up and opened the office door. Two soldiers were trying to dissuade the emotional Ding Hui.
"Wife."
Just as Feng Yunhao was about to go forward, Ding Hui rushed in front of him, pulled down the collar of her military uniform with both hands, and asked loudly with anxiety and anger on her face, "Where is my son? Where is Guoqiang?"
Feng Yunhao held his wife's shoulders and said, "Listen to me, the troops are looking for you. Can you go home and wait for news?"
Ding Hui slapped Feng Yunhao's chest hard and shouted almost crazily: "Since I learned that Guoqiang was missing, I have been waiting at home for six hours. Now it is pitch black outside. Tell me, where is my son? Do you have any news?"
After yelling the last sentence, Ding Hui had almost exhausted all her strength. She knelt on the ground exhausted and sobbed.
Seeing his wife losing control and being sad, Feng Yunhao's eyebrows were filled with grief. He knelt on the ground, hugged Ding Hui in his arms, and comforted her firmly, "I will definitely find my son back. I will. You go back first. Lili is still at home."
Zeng Chun noticed the look from the battalion commander, and together with Lu Zhouyuan, he stepped forward to help Ding Hui up and walked towards home.
The arrest of Wang Shuning and Feng Guoqiang caused the lights in the Jinshan Island troop station to be brightly lit, and no one wanted to rest.
On the island where they were stationed, a woman and a child were captured.
One is a teacher who came to the island to provide support, and the other is a family member of a soldier. They are too embarrassed to sleep.
When everyone present saw Feng Yunhao's red eyes, they turned their heads away silently. His own son was kidnapped and now he didn't know whether he was alive or dead. This would be unbearable for anyone.
Captain Feng is able to remain so calm now, which means he has controlled his emotions very well.
"That ship is so small, how fast can it run? How come the warship can't catch up with it?" Feng Yunhao slammed the table with his palm, and the whole tabletop was shaking.
After shouting this, he lowered his head, closed his eyes uncomfortably, and tried to force back the tears in his eyes.
Du Fengguo, wearing a military uniform, walked to the office door and stopped. He didn't know how to comfort Feng Yunhao.
Wang Shuning's family is thousands of miles away. If something happens to her, there is no way to explain to her family.
The troops who came to Jinshan Island to support education and defend the island are still there, but the teachers they were protecting were kidnapped on the island. It's their incompetence.
Hai Zhaotian, the instructor of the 1st Battalion who was driving the 123 warship to search for people, looked at the dark sea, his brows having been furrowed all day without relaxing.
"The companies in the other three directions haven't found anyone either. We are chasing at full speed, how is it possible that we can't catch up?" Hai Zhaotian was extremely puzzled.
The longer the time goes, the lower the probability of the hostages surviving.
"Instructor, judging by the traces of the ship going into the sea, the hull is not large and the fuel stored in the fuel tank is very limited. It can only run for about ten hours at most. They must have refueled, otherwise they will not be able to escape to the high seas." The subordinate speculated while staring at the sea map.
The 123 warships sailed along the most convenient sea route to reach the high seas, so it was impossible for them to fail to catch up with a small boat.
On an unknown island.
"Get up and get on the boat." North Vietnamese Scout No. 2 shouted at Wang Shuning.
Wang Shuning held Feng Guoqiang's hand tightly. As soon as the two got on the boat, Scout No. 1 saw that their hands were not tied. He frowned and took the rope to tie their hands again, and even stuffed their mouths.
Then he reminded his companion who was driving the boat: "Don't let your guard down."
Scout No. 2 looked straight ahead without looking back. "A woman and a child. There is no one on the sea. Even if they shout at the top of their lungs, no one can hear them."
Scout No. 1: "The pursuers are on their way. We can't let our guard down."
On the 123rd warship, Hai Zhaotian stared at the route map drawn by his subordinates in pencil and said suspiciously: "It's all islands. This way we will take too many detours."
"Excluding contact with people at sea, they can only refuel on the small islands. Based on the size of the fuel tanks, this is the most likely route to the high seas. Moreover, these islands are all uninhabited and nameless islands. The enemy troops who sneaked into Jinshan Island through underground caves may have hidden fuel on these islands when they came, in order to use it when escaping."
Hai Zhaotian looked out the window into the pitch-black night. The lights of the warships shone on the sea, but even the reflected light was very weak. Unless the distance was very close, the ships could not be seen at all.
"Go take a look and take a gamble."
"Yes." The navigator immediately adjusted the direction and approached the nearest island.
The 123 warship was too large, so it could only stop near the island and change to a small boat to land.
"Instructor, there is some unburned firewood here."
Hai Zhaotian ran over immediately. The firewood was half burned when it was extinguished by water, and he couldn't tell how long the person had been gone.
"Instructor, melon seeds." The subordinate pointed to a pile of melon seeds that had fallen in the grass. He was very excited. He had found the person. These melon seeds must have been secretly left behind by Wang Shuning.
Then they found two empty oil drums in a pit not far from the fire.
Judging from the size of the barrels, they will definitely refill their tanks.
"Send the message back immediately." Hai Zhaotian said to the communicator.
Then everyone quickly returned to the warship and headed for the next island.
Jinshan Island.
Du Fengguo, who was holding the microphone, raised his eyebrows, with a hint of surprise in his eyes: "Have you found any traces? Well, remember, the safety of Wang Shuning and Feng Guoqiang is the most important. They must come back alive."
Feng Yunhao stared at Du Fengguo nervously, "Captain, where are the people?"
Du Fengguo looked at him, "Do you want to go over there?"
Feng Yunhao nodded vigorously, "My son is there."
Du Fengguo shook his head and said, "You are very emotionally unstable right now and cannot participate in the rescue operation."
Feng Yunhao shouted: "That's my son!"
Du Fengguo raised his voice gruffly: "You have to trust your comrades, they will bring the people back safely."
Feng Yunhao scratched his head in confusion.
Scout No. 1 narrowed his eyes, "Shut down the engine."
The two men were afraid of being discovered, so they didn't even turn on the lights on the boat. They only dared to use a small flashlight to shine on the compass to determine the direction of sailing.
Scout No. 2 immediately cut off the throttle.
After the surroundings became quiet, a faint humming sound was heard in the distance.
The two immediately picked up their binoculars and looked around, but it was too dark and they couldn't see anything.
Wang Shuning's skin tensed up subconsciously. Has he come?
