He Meizhu was too lazy to argue with her youngest son. She tidied herself up and went to Lu Huaijiao's courtyard to talk to the head of the family, Lu Huaijiao.
Lu Huaijiao was learning how to sew a diaper for her child when she saw her mother-in-law coming over. She immediately asked how to make the diaper.
"Oh my little darling, is this needlework something you can do? Put it down, put it down, or you'll prick your hand again." He Meizhu was extremely anxious when she saw Lu Huaijiao doing needlework.

After doing this several times, Gu Changzheng started mending the wounds himself with needle and thread.

Now, with Gu Changzheng's needlework skills, if you told people it was a woman's, they would believe you.
Lu Huaijiao listened and nodded repeatedly.
"I never expected my fourth brother to be so amazing. Mom and Dad, you've done a great job raising him. He can do everything."
He Meizhu was certainly happy that her daughter-in-law praised her child. However, she couldn't show it on the surface, lest her fourth son become too smug.

As He Meizhu spoke, she recounted in detail the interesting stories that happened to Gu Changzheng when he was a child to Lu Huaijiao.
She had mentioned some of these things before, but no matter when she brought them up again, Lu Huaijiao would always show great interest. This greatly satisfied He Meizhu's desire to talk.

Inside the room, He Meizhu was sewing diapers while talking to Lu Huaijiao about Gu Changzheng's past.
Lu Huaijiao looked on with great interest.

Both Gu Jianhua and He Meizhu are the kind of people who don't like to take advantage of others.
If it were any of the other villagers who liked to take advantage, having a daughter-in-law like Lu Huaijiao would probably make them want to peel off a layer of skin from her body.
Since the family split up, they have been giving them money bit by bit, which adds up to about five hundred.
This is more money than many families earn in a year.
