It's getting late; we can have dinner when we get back after delivering it.
"OK."
Lu Huaijiao picked up her basket and left. The triplets and Gu Jianhua played in the yard. When they saw their mother leaving, they didn't stick to her. Instead, they waved goodbye and told their mother to be careful.
Lu Huaijiao smiled and agreed.
"Mom will be back soon."
She took the basket and went out the door, walking along the street towards the health station.
The health station was located not far from the brigade headquarters; it was a building consisting of four or five single-story rooms.
The houses formed a small courtyard, and the barefoot doctors who worked there lived in the health station.
There is a room for the doctor to sleep and cook.
When she arrived, Shen Yicheng was fetching water to prepare a meal.
In the past two years, Shen Yicheng has become the attending physician at the health station.
He was somewhat surprised to see Lu Huaijiao approaching, but then he remembered the two children who had come during the day, and he knew what was going on.
"Have you come to see Da Ya and Er Ya?"
Shen Yicheng spoke.
Lu Huaijiao nodded.
"Dr. Shen."
She really had absolutely no impression of Shen Yicheng.
Seeing Lu Huaijiao's calm demeanor, Shen Yicheng couldn't help but want to laugh.
Watching Lu Huaijiao walk away without looking back, Shen Yicheng finally asked the question he hadn't said before.
"Lu Huaijiao, don't you remember me?"
Lu Huaijiao stopped in her tracks.
He turned to look at Shen Yicheng.
Should I remember you?
She knew that Shen Yicheng was definitely not talking about something that happened in the last year or two, so she asked directly.
She had absolutely no recollection of him.
"Don't you remember Flower Kindergarten?"
