Niu Fangfang took Lu Huaijiao's words to heart.
The group started working together.
Although it didn't snow today, it was still terribly cold. The cold wind was howling, and it felt like ice shards hitting my face.
It was both cold and painful.
My face is almost numb.
Lu Huaijiao warmed herself by the fire in front of the makeshift earthen stove. She sat on a small stool, and even though she was dressed in thick clothes, she was still very small.

Seeing that the two people, who were originally completely unrelated, were now talking, Lu Huaijiao immediately became interested.
"Huaijiao, would you like to sit on the stool?"
Liu Lan turned around and saw Lu Huaijiao squatting down, looking at the shed across the street. She found it amusing and asked her if she wanted to sit on a stool.
Lu Huaijiao shook her head.
"Aunt Liu, please shield me from this."
She looked across at the other side and asked Liu Lan to shield her. Liu Lan naturally knew what she meant by shielding her.
"good."
Without saying a word, Liu Lan stood next to Lu Huaijiao, completely shielding her from view.
This also made it convenient for Lu Huaijiao to look across the street.
She saw Lu Zhengde exchange a few words with Zhang Qiang, and then Zhang Qiang left.
Although Lu Zhengde was still at their school's booth, he was clearly a little distracted.
Lu Huaijiao felt a sudden unease; something was amiss.
Lu Zhengde and Zhang Qiang are having an affair.
She was about to continue thinking when a somewhat familiar male voice pulled her back to reality.

It seemed like he and Niu Fangfang were old acquaintances.

Xiang Dongcheng, however, was completely unaffected by Niu Fangfang's cold expression. Instead, he smiled, picked up the large bowl, and gulped down all the ginger tea in it in one go.
"Did they put sugar in it?"
Although we are now free to buy things, brown sugar is still a very precious commodity.
Xiang Dongcheng was surprised to find that Niu Fangfang and the others had added sugar to the ginger tea they brewed.
Niu Fangfang snorted: "It's all thanks to our Jiaojiao."
"Jiaojiao?"
He murmured the name to Dongcheng, feeling that it sounded somewhat familiar.
Lu Huaijiao had no choice but to stand up at this moment. With a polite smile on her face, she greeted Dongcheng.
"Brother Xiang."
That familiar voice immediately brought Xiang Dongcheng back to mind.
"Is this your sister-in-law? What's this?" He looked at Lu Huaijiao, then at Niu Fangfang, and quickly realized that they were good friends.
"What a coincidence! You two are actually friends," Xiang Dongcheng said with a smile.
Niu Fangfang glanced sideways at Xiang Dongcheng: "What? It's not okay?"
"I didn't say that."
Xiang Dongcheng is innocent.
The tall man was now displaying an innocent expression typical of children, which certainly sparked much speculation.
Lu Huaijiao noticed that Niu Fangfang's ears turned red when she made such an innocent expression to Xiang Dongcheng.

She wouldn't believe it if you said there was nothing going on!
Not only her, but even Liu Lan noticed something unusual about it.
She looked at Xiang Dongcheng suspiciously.
Xiang Dongcheng put away his nonchalant smile, straightened up, and greeted Liu Lan.
"Is this your aunt? Hello, my name is Xiang Dongcheng, I am Fangfang's..." Before she could finish speaking, Niu Fangfang, who was originally standing behind, suddenly walked out and pushed the man who was introducing himself away.
"Get out of here right now! Who told you to introduce yourself in front of my mom?"
Niu Fangfang's reaction was somewhat like trying to hide something obvious.
Xiang Dongcheng smiled and let Niu Fangfang push him away.
"Auntie, I'll be going now. I'll visit you and Uncle another day."
"Who asked you to come visit?"
Niu Fangfang is going crazy.
Before Liu Lan could speak, he answered Xiang Dongcheng's question. He reached out and pushed the man away, determined not to let him appear in front of his mother.
Niu Fangfang was unaware that her actions were making people even more suspicious.
Liu Lan was stunned for a moment before she came to her senses. She nodded to Xiang Dongcheng, who was being pushed away by Niu Fangfang, and only came back to her senses after they had gone far away.
"Huaijiao, this comrade..."
"Towards the East City."
"Oh right, Comrade Xiang Dongcheng, you know him?"
Knowing that Lu Huaijiao was her daughter's good friend, Liu Lan decided to ask her for some information.
To be honest, Lu Huaijiao didn't know that the old man Niu Fangfang kept talking about was Xiang Dongcheng; she had only just found out herself.
But considering how much Niu Fangfang used to nag her, she thought that good things might be on the horizon.
“He and my husband started two companies together.”
Lu Huaijiao answered honestly.
Liu Lan nodded: "He starts a company? He's not young, is he? He looks to be around thirty?"
