Old Xu gave a cold shout.
"They got divorced."
"These things are mine even after the divorce," Old Mrs. Xu answered instinctively, then realized something was off. "What did you say? Divorce? Gu Changqing and Xu Honglian are divorced?"
Old Mrs. Xu stared wide-eyed at Old Mr. Xu, looking as if she had seen a ghost.
"That Gu Changqing, how dare he abandon Honglian, who bore him two sons?"
Seeing Old Mrs. Xu's reaction, I finally understand why Xu Honglian felt that having given birth to two sons gave her a superior status in the Gu family.
