"You sit over there, don't come any closer." Lin Xiaoxiao directly rejected Bruce's attempt to get closer.
Bruce looked disappointed and sat down opposite Lin Xiaoxiao.
Lin Xiaoxiao leaned back. "You're a real estate agent? What kind of agent?"
Bruce took a sip of his drink. "Real estate agent."
In the 1970s, the real estate market in the United States had already reached a certain scale, and the profession of real estate agent had emerged.
However, today's intermediaries are relatively simple in terms of service content and technical means.
Lin Xiaoxiao glanced at him a few times. His cheap blue shirt was faded from washing, but it was ironed without a single wrinkle.
Despite having modest means, they can still afford to order a ten-dollar martini at a bar.
“A real estate agent,” she repeated.
He then added meaningfully, "Working in this industry is like being an 'information transfer station.' All kinds of real estate-related information have to pass through here before going to where it's supposed to go."
"Don't you think that makes sense?"
Bruce straightened his sleeves, looked up at the words, and a glint of something flashed in his eyes. "Not bad, Miss has a discerning eye."
Lin Xiaoxiao was in a good mood. "I'm thinking of buying a house recently. Can you provide me with any information?"
Bruce sat up straight and quickly got into work mode. "I need to know your needs first."
Lin Xiaoxiao glanced around; everyone was immersed in the pleasure brought by alcohol.
"Washington, D.C. isn't as bustling as New York, and I'm hesitant about buying property here. Could you tell me about the current real estate situation in Washington, D.C., and where the biggest potential for appreciation lies...?"
Bruce, a professional real estate agent, immediately began introducing the properties to her.
Passersby overheard their conversation but didn't think there was anything wrong with it.
Conducting business in bars and clubs has always been a popular practice.
It's nothing unusual anymore.
Half an hour later, Bruce finished his last sip of wine and said to Lin Xiaoxiao, "If you want to buy property, Miss, you can come to me anytime."
Lin Xiaoxiao nodded, "I need to think about it for a while."
Bruce said, "I understand."
The two then chatted about real estate, and half an hour later, Lin Xiaoxiao left the bar.
Seeing this, Jenna asked the white man to invite Bruce over.
Because Bruce was talking to Lin Xiaoxiao with his back to them, Jenna didn't see what Bruce looked like.
Upon seeing that it was a standard Asian face, Jenna instantly lost interest.
Leaning against the white man's bare chest, she gave him a passionate French kiss right in front of everyone, eliciting whistles from the crowd.
Bruce showed no surprise at the sight; his calm demeanor suggested he was a seasoned veteran of the entertainment industry.
Jenna was intrigued by this commonplace reaction.
He beckoned to Bruce, and the man obediently moved closer.
"Between me and that Chinese girl from earlier, which do you prefer?" Jenna tugged at his collar and leaned closer.
Bruce looked down at her fiery red lips, which were only a few centimeters away from his, as if he were being seduced. "Beautiful lady, you must believe in your charm."
So don't doubt yourself.
Jenna laughed and nudged the white man next to her. The white man wisely got up and gave up his seat.
She pulled Bruce down onto the sofa, flipped over and straddled his lap, snatched a wine glass from her friend's hand, lifted his chin, and forced him to drink.
"Are all Easterners as eloquent as you?" Clearly, she was pleased.
Bruce choked on the drink a few times; the liquid trickled down his chin, down his neck, and finally disappeared into his shirt.
He wiped the water from the corner of his mouth, smiled, and said, "I can't help but be captivated by a beautiful lady like you. All my words come from the bottom of my heart."
For the first time, Jenner felt that Eastern men also had their own merits.
Just two short sentences brought a smile to her face countless times.
A puppy that's good at pleasing people.
Jenna thought to herself with satisfaction, then took out her apartment key. "When I get drunk, remember to take me back to my apartment."
The implication is quite clear.
Bruce readily accepted it, saying, "I wonder if I have the honor of knowing your name?"
"Jenna Davidson".
"Jenna, what a lovely name. Today's surprise is like finding a hundred dollars on the street."
Jenna glanced at his clothes and could tell he was poor.
However, it's the poor who are easier to manipulate.
She admitted that she was currently somewhat infatuated with this Asian man, and decided to keep him at arm's length for now.
Jenna was pleasantly surprised when her hand slipped under her clothes and her fingertips touched her firm abs; her figure was quite good.
"The key you have can open a high-rise apartment in downtown Washington, D.C. It's yours."
When Jenna is in a good mood, she wants to throw money around.
"Oh right, I forgot to tell you my identity. My father is Sean Davidson."
When she mentioned her father's name, Jenna held her head high, her eyes brimming with pride.
When he heard Davidson's name, Bruce didn't show exaggerated flattery, but his expression was still somewhat surprised.
Both being Asians, Jenner glanced at the Korean man next to her friend across the table and looked disgusted.
Her lover was more respectable.
What kind of taste do you have, my girl, to choose such a despicable man?
There's always a tacit understanding among high-end entertainment players, and that's how Bruce became Jenner's nth lover.
The next day, when Lin Xiaoxiao was shopping at a luxury store, she saw Bruce following behind Jenner and frowned slightly, her eyes showing confusion and surprise.
