Chapter 175 The First Chinese Person to Be Hunted Globally

The first-class tickets for Liang Jihang's family were bought by Lin Xiaoxiao through someone else.

The entire cruise ship has only a dozen or so first-class cabins; the rest are standard cabins, each requiring at least two people to stay in.

Lin Xiaoxiao's room was next to Liang Jihang's two rooms, and her luggage and belongings were all in the space.

During the day, she stayed with the Liang family, and at night she was always on guard while sleeping.

Little did they know that her sudden disappearance had caused a complete uproar among the three parties in the United States.

The incident began when Huang Liangcai's daughter, Huang Wei, found a diary in her father's room. In it, he wrote about his doubts and suspicions about Natasha's identity as the daughter of the head of the Davis family, and also expressed his fear of being killed at any time.

When the diary was presented to the CIA director, he was incredulous.

While sending people to arrest Lin Xiaoxiao, they also went to the Davis family to investigate Sean.

Before leaving, Lin Xiaoxiao wrote a letter to Sean.

She told him very frankly the truth that she was not his daughter, and said that if the CIA came looking for him, he should just push all the blame onto her.

So when the CIA came to Sean, he already had a plan on how to shift the blame.

"Mr. Sean, your youngest daughter, Natasha, is very likely an agent from China. What's your opinion on this?"

Sean jumped to his feet, his expression changing drastically. "What?"

His tone was full of disbelief.

He then shook his head and said, "Impossible. I specifically had an HLA kinship test done before I brought Natasha back to my family."

"The test results are in the safe. I'll go get them for you."

He then went to open the safe.

The CIA stopped him and learned that he was unaware of the situation. "The Chinese are the most cunning. They have a million ways to turn something that isn't true into something that is. The test results will definitely be true, but the person might not be."

Sean sat back down, his face somewhat grim. "Then you must find out the truth as soon as possible."

The CIA naturally agreed.

If a foreign spy were to emerge from a wealthy family, it would damage the family's image.

They asked Sean a few more questions, which Sean answered truthfully to all of them.

He listened to Lin Xiaoxiao and pushed all the responsibility onto her.

I, on the other hand, am playing the role of someone who has been deceived.

Upon hearing that it had cost Sean nearly 500,000 dollars to find Lin Xiaoxiao, even the CIA staff couldn't help but gasp in astonishment.

They've also dreamed of that kind of life of luxury.

"Okay, thank you for your cooperation, Mr. Sean. I will let you know as soon as I have the results."

Sean nodded.

He only relaxed and breathed a sigh of relief after the person left.

After the Bureau of Investigation discovered the CIA's unusual activity, they investigated further and learned that the CIA was unhappy when they arrested a woman.

"It is the Bureau of Investigation's right to arrest people. What does the CIA want to do? Overstepping its bounds?" The Bureau of Investigation director was in a very bad mood recently. After learning about this, he barged into the CIA director's office and berated him.

The CIA director retorted, "The Bureau of Investigation's power? Criminals can be rescued from prison, databases can be forcibly broken into, what can your Bureau of Investigation do?"

"You..." The director of the investigation bureau was furious and kicked his desk. "I need to report this to my superiors."

The CIA director eventually shared information with the director of the Bureau of Investigation.

He was told that Natasha was most likely a Chinese agent.

When the director of the investigation bureau went back and thought about it, he felt that the name Natasha sounded familiar, as if he had heard it somewhere before.

"Nasha?" A sudden voice startled the bureau chief who was walking.

The bureau chief, recognizing him as his recently promoted assistant, narrowed his eyes and asked, "You know him?"

Jeff lowered his head. "She's a young lady from the Davis family. She once captured an R country JD for us. Later, she shot a high-ranking CIA officer in public and was arrested by our people and detained overnight. The next day, she was taken away by Mr. Sean."

Sean?

The bureau chief suddenly realized.

He remembered.

When Sean came to ask for people, he had connections with him.

At the time, he thought it was just a shot in the leg, nothing serious, so he could just let it go.

"No!" The bureau chief paused, his expression thoughtful, and after a moment, he uttered a curse.

The day Lin Xiaoxiao was arrested was the same day the database was forcibly breached.

In other words, Lin Xiaoxiao is the one who stole the Bureau of Investigation's confidential information?

Perhaps Wu Zhuoan's rescue was also related to her.

The bureau chief cursed, "Go arrest her. I want to see just how capable she is."

In the very end, not only did they fail to arrest anyone, but they didn't even find a trace of them.

The Bureau of Investigation and the CIA, holding their breath, mobilized a large number of personnel to conduct a thorough search, and anyone who had been in contact with Lin Xiaoxiao was taken in for questioning.

The Investigation Bureau is quite capable; they figured out Lin Xiaoxiao's movements in just one day.

I learned that she had already boarded the ship and left country M with Liang Jihang and his group.

Both the CIA and the Bureau of Investigation were extremely unwilling to accept this.

The military was furious after learning of the investigation results from the Bureau of Investigation.

Lin Xiaoxiao left just like that, carrying so many secrets and weapons?

If she were to return to China safely, that classified information would be leaked into China, which would be extremely detrimental to the United States.

Even if Lin Xiaoxiao has already sent all the information back, the damage has already been done, and all that M can do is try to turn the tide.
