Lin Xiaoxiao was amazed by Liang Jiyue's lofty ideals.
They also expressed their admiration for Liang Jihang and Lou Cuie's education and support for their children.
While Liang Jihang put down his work, Liang Jiyue asked him all the questions she had encountered in the past few days.
Lin Xiaoxiao listened from the side, feeling like she was about to grow a brain.
A week later, the cruise ship entered the high seas of the Pacific Ocean.
Drifting at sea, surrounded by nothing but seawater, with no place to land, the sight itself instills a sense of fear.
The weather at sea is unpredictable; one moment the sun is blazing, and the next a gale is blowing and a downpour is pouring down, with towering waves crashing on the sea.
Even a behemoth like a cruise ship appears so small at sea, violently tossed about by the dark waves.
The salty sea breeze, carrying broken waves, crashed onto the deck, and Lin Xiaoxiao quickly rescued her little chair.
This sea storm was like the awakening of an ancient behemoth, and the cruise ship was struggling to carve its way forward in the vortex of fate.
The crew followed instructions methodically and continued sailing. In the shadows, the beasts that had been lying in wait bared their fangs and suddenly pounced on their prey.
"Bang!"
Lin Xiaoxiao kicked a burly man away, wiped the rain off her face, and was soaked to the bone.
Her face was full of arrogance, and her eyes were excited. "You bunch of losers, you've finally decided to crawl out."
Sensing her terrifying power, the leader of the group calmly said, "Don't engage her in hand-to-hand combat."
If hand-to-hand combat is not an option, then the only choice is to draw a gun.
One of the men reached down to her lower back. Lin Xiaoxiao narrowed her eyes, and an invisible aura emanated from her and spread outwards.
In just one second, the man was brought under control.
"Nan, you idiot, what do you think you're doing?" The man with a gun pressed against his head by Nan yelled, "Go and shoot that b*tch."
Lin Xiaoxiao's eyes turned cold, and she opened her lips, "Bang."
"Bang!"
Blood splattered.
"All of you, get them!" After Nunn pulled the trigger, the boss was completely enraged and shot Nunn dead.
They had guns, and so did Lin Xiaoxiao.
For a moment, everyone hiding in their rooms on the cruise ship strained their ears to listen to the gunshots and the sound of the waves coming from outside.
"Can Xiaoxiao handle it?" Lou Cuie paced back and forth in the room. Every time a gunshot rang out outside, her heart clenched and she couldn't calm down.
Liang Jiyue was held in Liang Jihang's arms, who covered her ears and said, "We can't help you. All we can do is stay in the room and not wander around."
Try not to cause trouble for Lin Xiaoxiao.
Lou Cuie glanced at the tightly closed door and then at the locked French windows.
Outside the window was a deck accessible only to passengers in a few first-class cabins via their rooms; it was impossible for those outside to climb up from elsewhere.
But now...
Lou Cuie's heart tightened. She stood in front of Liang Jihang, shielding him behind her, her eyes fixed on the people who had appeared on the deck outside.
"Hide behind me." Liang Jihang saw it too, his expression changed, and he went to pull Lou Cuie away.
"No." Lou Cuie clenched her fists. "You take your daughter and run away."
The husband and daughter felt that nothing could go wrong.
She didn't care.
"Dad, Mom..." Liang Jiyue's eyes were filled with fear as she hugged Liang Jihang tightly.
"I finally made it up here." The person outside, looking through the French windows at Liang Jihang and his family of three, wore a triumphant smile.
He walked over and smashed the window hard.
With one hand holding his daughter's hand and the other holding his wife's, Liang Jihang said firmly, "Let's run out together and find Xiaoxiao."
Seeing that they were about to run away, the man panicked, raised his gun and started firing, shattering the window with bullets.
At that moment, the room door was kicked open.
Liang Jihang held his wife and daughter in his arms and squatted in the corner.
Seeing the terrified look in his daughter's eyes, he covered her eyes, a bitter smile playing on his lips.
Although I knew the return journey wouldn't be peaceful, I didn't expect it to be such a large-scale operation.
What merit or ability does Liang Jihang possess to warrant so many people from the US government being sent to hunt him down?
"Damn it, you bastard, where did you crawl in from?" Lin Xiaoxiao blinked as she burst through the door and saw the man carrying a gun.
"Go to hell." The man held up his gun and started firing.
Lin Xiaoxiao cursed, found cover, lay down on the ground, and started firing the stolen gun.
Let's see who can kill the other first.
Lin Xiaoxiao had cover, but the man was right behind the deck, so there was nowhere for her to hide.
It was riddled with holes.
Lin Xiaoxiao ran over, dragged him, and threw him into the sea.
After throwing it away, pat yourself on the back.
No wonder they all like to kill people on the high seas. They kill them, throw them into the sea, feed them to the sharks, destroy the evidence, and no one can find them.
Lin Xiaoxiao was leaning on the deck railing, her body and hands covered in splattered blood.
The strong smell of rust sent a wave of nausea through her, and she immediately lay down and vomited. "Ugh!"
"Xiaoxiao, what's wrong?" Lou Cuie, now safe, ran over and patted her back, feeling very worried.
Lin Xiaoxiao opened her mouth, "No... ugh~"
My stomach felt like it was being gripped by an invisible hand, churning incessantly, and nausea struck without warning.
Lou Cuie quickly found a clean cup, poured her a glass of clean water, and fed it to her.
Liang Jihang looked at her with concern, "Are you injured?"
Liang Jiyue clung tightly to her father, her eyes still showing lingering shock, but her gaze towards Lin Xiaoxiao was full of concern.
