"Aaaaaah..." Yao Huixian was temporarily at a disadvantage and could only rage helplessly.
He Meng plopped down on her waist, pressing her down firmly, her arm almost smoking as she swung it around. "This is my son's territory. What are you doing here, you bitch? I'll beat you to death."
"Stop it, all of you!" Qin Jinye, ignoring the injuries on his face and neck, ran over to break up the fight and pulled He Meng away.
This one pull completely changed the course of the struggle between the two women, allowing Yao Huixian to seize the opportunity to rise up and fight back.
The positions of the two were reversed, and He Meng was now the one being pressed down, receiving several slaps.
Lin Xiaoxiao walked over, grabbed Yao Huixian by the back of her collar, and threw her to the ground. "What are you fighting for? Harmony in the family is the most important thing. What kind of conflict requires violence? How old are you three? Don't you have any sense of propriety?"
"Comrades have all said that we should unite, be friendly, and help each other. What kind of skill is it to fight amongst ourselves?"
Lin Xiaoxiao stood in front of the three men with one hand on her hip, pretending to criticize and educate them one by one.
"Comrade Qin Jinye, as mayor, your every word and action in public will become a benchmark for the masses to learn from. You must be mindful of your words and actions. What does it mean to be a shrew? To put it bluntly, you are discriminating against women and labeling them. This is a big mistake, do you know that?"
Qin Jinye nodded, feeling resentful.
"Very good." Lin Xiaoxiao clapped her hands. "Now that you know your mistake, shouldn't you apologize to Comrade He Meng?"
Qin Jinye stared wide-eyed, pointed at He Meng, and said with a complicated expression, "I should apologize to her?"
Apologizing to a woman? Does he even have any face left as mayor?
