Wen Mo completely disregarded his threats and said dismissively, "Show me one of you?"
If someone who's fallen to such a low point is still afraid of these gangsters, then he's utterly useless.
The leader was speechless for a moment, his anger rising and falling, his face turning as black as soot from the bottom of a pot.
After a long silence, he said coldly, "Let's go."
If he can't afford to offend them, can't he at least avoid them?
Wen Mo didn't stop them, and just watched the large group of people leave, including that audacious little girl.
"Sir, are we just going to let them go like that?" the assistant asked, puzzled.
Those people were clearly there to help the Black Tiger Gang; the local police station, which was confronting the Black Tiger Gang, even requested support from them.
Letting them go would only make things more difficult for our allies.
Wen Mo took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, pulled one out and put it in his mouth, then reached out to his assistant, "Can I borrow a light?"
The assistant quickly struck a match and lit it for him.
Amidst the swirling smoke, his expression was obscured. Only after finishing a cigarette did Wen Mo speak again, "Tell them to release the people and call it a day."
The assistant paused for a moment before understanding what he meant.
"Officer, I heard that the Black Tiger Gang is still holding hostages, and they've abandoned them?"
Wen Mo stubbed out his cigarette, a hint of gentleness still visible on his rugged face. "They don't have the guts."
Although the assistant didn't understand why he was so sure, there's always a chance of something going wrong.
I didn't understand, but I still did it.
So when Lin Xiaoxiao returned to the civilian area with the Triads, she only saw the Black Tiger Gang members looking completely bewildered; the Hong Kong police officers who had been confronting them for so long were nowhere to be seen.
The five hostages held by the Black Tiger Gang cowered timidly in a corner.
"What's going on? Where are they?" They thought it would be a tough battle, so they brought several hundred men, but they didn't see a single hair on the ground.
The leader was also momentarily stunned.
The gang leader said, "Everyone left five minutes before you arrived."
The leader immediately thought of Wen Mo.
"Damn it!" The iron rod slammed against the wall, knocking off a clump of plaster, and the speaker cursed.
"You bastard surnamed Wen, you dare to play us for fools? Just you wait."
One day, they will kill that stubborn bastard Wen Mo.
"Not many casualties are a good thing," Wang Dazhuang said.
The gang leader thought the same thing.
They secretly prayed that the police would stop watching them.
If this happens again, the Black Tiger Gang will really have to disband.
After all, no one wants to live in constant fear and anxiety while on the run.
"Boss, what should we do with these hostages?" someone asked.
The gang leader was very unhappy. "Kill him."
The man immediately drew his knife to stab, but was stopped.
"Kill what?" The leader glanced at the gang leader with displeasure. "Haven't you been chased by the police enough?"
Having said that, he said without room for argument, "Release them."
After that, the gang leader went to the Triad territory with the Triad members. Lin Xiaoxiao guessed that he was going to pledge his loyalty to his godfather.
The Black Tiger Gang members, who had narrowly escaped death, put their arms around each other and prepared to go to the dance hall to relax.
Lin Xiaoxiao was among them.
She obediently followed behind Wang Dazhuang, like a good-for-nothing lackey.
Wang Dazhuang intended to promote her and asked about her special skills, "Do you have any special talents?"
Lin Xiaoxiao said shyly, "No, I haven't read many books, so how could I have any special skills?"
Seeing her belittle herself, Wang Dazhuang became dissatisfied. "So what if you haven't been to school? Look at me, didn't I make a name for myself through sheer strength?"
Lin Xiaoxiao looked on with admiration.
Wang Dazhuang was very pleased and showed her his strong arms, saying, "Being strong is an advantage. Think about it carefully."
He finally has such a devoted fan, so naturally he has to nurture him properly.
Be your own confidant.
Lin Xiaoxiao pretended to think for a long time before slowly saying, "I... seem to be quite strong too."
"Hey, it's okay even if you don't have it." Wang Dazhuang didn't believe it.
He's thin and small, looks malnourished, how could he have any strength?
Maybe she's feeling inferior and is saying that on purpose.
Wang Dazhuang patted her on the shoulder, "Come on, your brother Dazhuang will treat you to a nightclub."
The dance hall he was referring to was certainly not a formal one.
When Lin Xiaoxiao first stepped inside, she was almost blinded by the dazzling lights and vibrant atmosphere.
What the hell was that lighting design genius?
The various lights, like laser lights, were so bright they hurt your eyes.
She lowered her head and blinked a few times.
Wang Dazhuang interpreted this normal action as a sign of being unsophisticated, insecure, and embarrassed.
He pressed Lin Xiaoxiao down into the booth and called the boss out.
The owner, a rather plump middle-aged woman, exclaimed exaggeratedly upon seeing Wang Dazhuang, "Brother Wang, your presence truly honors our dance hall! Why isn't Brother Hei here today?"
Wang Dazhuang pulled out a stack of banknotes from somewhere and stuffed them into the boss's crotch from top to bottom. "Even if Brother Hei isn't here, I can still feed you. Go on, call out all your star players so my little lackey can broaden his horizons."
The boss glanced at Lin Xiaoxiao, who was looking down and embarrassed, without saying a word. "Okay, I guarantee you'll be satisfied."
After saying that, he ignored the banknotes in the ditch and swayed his hips as he went to the back.
Lin Xiaoxiao, the "little follower," looked up and saw Wang Dazhuang leering at the boss's buttocks. Her lips twitched.
