Chapter 38 The deputy regimental commander on night duty catching thieves is being transferred.

Qin Yushen had no choice but to leave it at that for now.

After finishing her meal, Lin Xiaoxiao slung her military green bag over her shoulder, took the food, and went to the factory.

It was her first time working the night shift, and Qin Yushen couldn't sleep. She tossed and turned, her mind filled with all sorts of chaotic thoughts.

I woke up groggily the next day, and just as I finished making breakfast, Lin Xiaoxiao came back.

After staying up all night, Lin Xiaoxiao had dark circles under her eyes, yawned, and tears welled up in her eyes.

"Eat your food before you sleep." Qin Yushen pulled her to the table, peeled an egg for her, and asked, "Did you catch anyone?"

Lin Xiaoxiao shook her head, "I just pulled off a big heist the day before yesterday, so I doubt I'll be coming for the next couple of days."

Qin Yu rubbed his temples; he hadn't slept well last night and his head ached.

Shao Gang walked over, looked at the new recruits resting, and asked, "Didn't you sleep well?"

"Hmm." Qin Yushen lowered his hand, resuming his usual serious expression.

"I just received news that Xu Dali's mother has passed away." Shao Gang sighed.

Qin Yushen was stunned for a moment.

"He applied for an extension of his leave, and I approved it."

After saying that, Shao Gang turned around, patted him on the shoulder, and said, "He's not in good condition and is no longer suitable to lead new recruits. The responsibility of the recruit camp will be handed over to you from now on."

Qin Yushen: "Received."

Shao Gang nodded in satisfaction, "The capable should do more work, and you can't neglect the affairs of the First Battalion either."

"Yu Shen, Commander, I'll give you a heads-up: the Deputy Commander is being transferred."

Qin Yu's heart stirred.
