Fang Yao dared not resist, curling up on the ground in pain, enduring his violence. The infatuation in her eyes slowly faded, replaced by an empty darkness.
After venting his frustrations, Qin Huaijun let out a sigh of relief, feeling much better.
He looked at Fang Yao, who was standing at his feet like a dog, and a mocking smile appeared on his lips. "How shameless are you? Even a dog knows to jump up and fight back when its tail is stepped on. You're even worse than a dog."
Fang Yao gritted her teeth, her lips bleeding from the bite, but she seemed oblivious to it.
Qin Huaijun usually pretended to be a gentleman, but only with Fang Yao could he get a little time to be himself. He liked to see people groveling at his feet and letting him bully them.
Fang Yao was practically made for him; she was his natural punching bag.
Qin Huaijun sighed, pulled her up from the ground, then hugged her, stripped off her clothes, and looked at the bruises and old and new wounds on her body with admiration in his eyes.
His fingertips lingered on the wounds, his voice as gentle as a lover's whisper, "Yaoyao, you'll understand me, won't you?"
"I did all this because I love you. If I didn't love you, why would I have left so many marks on you?"
"That woman Lu Xue'er seems aloof on the surface, but she's actually more promiscuous than anyone else, and she's been eyeing one man after another. You're the best, though; you've only ever loved me from beginning to end. I won't let you down."
Fang Yao finally smiled again.
Qin Huaijun smiled and patted her face. "I'll stay tonight."
"I'll go prepare your clothes for a bath." Fang Yao shyly pulled on her clothes, even though she was in excruciating pain, she still rushed towards the man who had hurt her time and time again.
