"Xu Mo is clearly a criminal who extorts money, so why not arrest him instead of kicking me out!"
After a brief moment of surprise, Xu Wenwan rallied.
She clenched her fists, her eyes filled with determination.
"Xu Mo, don't think you can get away with this just because you bribed them!"
"I, Xu Wenwan, swear that even if I don't become a lawyer, I will still get you imprisoned!"
After a brief setback, Xu Wenwan did not give up.
She even felt stronger and turned around to go outside the courthouse.
However, when she tried to enter the courthouse, she was stopped by security guards.
"What's your name? What do you do for a living?"
"Xu Wenwan, this is my lawyer's license."
Xu Wenwan took out her lawyer's license and handed it over.
The security guard glanced at her, returned her lawyer's license, and asked, "What are you doing here?"
Xu Wenwan: "I want to sue Xu Mo for alleged extortion!"
Upon hearing the name Xu Mo, the security guard recalled a sentence spoken by the presiding judge.
"Your bonuses will double this month, all thanks to the kind-hearted young friend Xu Mo..."
When he turned to Xu Wenwan again, his tone was somewhat displeased.
"How could a kind-hearted and capable boy like Xu Mo be suspected of extortion?"
"Is he kind-hearted? Capable?"
Xu Wenwan laughed in exasperation.
When Xu Mo was at home, he seemed to be quite kind to his family.
No matter what happens at home, he's always the first to step forward and help.
However, on many occasions, he not only failed to get things done, but also made what was originally a simple matter more complicated.
She always remembered how Xu Mo was clearly incompetent, yet he insisted on showing off.
Looking back now, his reason for doing this was simply to attract his family's attention and then gain the right to inherit the Xu family's estate.
However, no one in the Xu family is foolish, and they certainly wouldn't hand over control of the family's assets to Xu Mo.
Therefore, Xu Mo's idea failed!
Xu Wenwan became even more certain of one thing.
"Xu Mo must know that he is incompetent and cannot gain the approval of our Xu family, so he has torn off the mask of courtesy, stopped trying to please our Xu family, and is plotting his revenge!"
"But unfortunately, as a top lawyer, I will never let him succeed!"
The security guard ignored Xu Wenwan's mutterings.
Knowing that the security guard wouldn't believe her, Xu Wenwan simply took out the prepared documents.
"There are witnesses and physical evidence here that prove Xu Mo is a two-faced scoundrel!"
Security guard: "I don't look at this. I'm just a security guard. My job is to prevent any unauthorized personnel from entering the courthouse."
Xu Wenwan: "I'm a lawyer, I need to see your dean!"
The security guard pointed in a direction: "If you want to sue Xu Mo, you can register over there."
Xu Wenwan walked into the office.
This time, she didn't go through as many procedures as the police station.
Notification, registration, submission of materials, and case filing.
The whole process went incredibly smoothly.
After the incident was over, Xu Wenwan immediately questioned the staff.
"When will you bring Xu Mo to court for trial?"
"After we verify the authenticity of the materials you submitted, we will investigate this matter. As for when the investigation will take place, I cannot give an exact time, since we may be busy with a tricky case for many days!"
What does it mean that there is no exact time?
"It means exactly what it says. Besides, we've already filed a case. Why don't you just go back and wait for our notification? Why do you have to keep harping on this? Do you know how busy I am?"
"Feel sorry!"
Seeing that the staff seemed to be getting angry, Xu Wenwan turned around and left the court.
After leaving the courthouse, she gradually sensed that something was wrong.
Was the entire process of filing a case in court too smooth?
After all, when he went to the police station before, they kept dragging their feet and refused to do anything, and in the end they even kicked her out!
How can the court be so efficient?
"It must be because they are fair and honest, and refuse to compromise their principles!"
"That's right, that must be it. There are still more good people than bad in this world!"
"However, now that a case has been filed, even if the police station doesn't handle it well, I'll at least have something to say to my parents when I get home tonight!"
In fact, shortly after Xu Wenwan left, the case filing documents concerning Xu Mo were delivered to the dean.
The dean looked at the document on the table, his thoughts a jumble of emotions.
"Little Liu!"
"Well, Dean, what do you want to say?"
Xiao Liu quickly stepped forward and asked.
The dean stroked his chin and said, "I suddenly feel like drinking green tea. Go and make me a cup."
Upon hearing this, Xiao Liu exclaimed, "Okay!"
Xiao Liu went to the water dispenser, took a disposable cup, put a handful of green tea leaves in it, poured hot water over it, and then brought it to the dean.
The dean has already begun reviewing the documents submitted by Xu Wenwan.
When the dean saw Xiao Liu bring over the green tea, he took off his glasses and said.
"Put it on the table."
"Okay."
Xiao Liu glanced at the dean and placed the green tea on the document.
The dean seemed to be getting old and his eyesight was failing. When he reached for the teacup, he accidentally knocked it over.
Not only did the tea soak the documents, but some of it even spilled onto the floor.
