"Summoning a ghost?"
Old Dao trembled slightly when he heard the word "ghost".
"Brother Chen, do you mean to let a ghost possess me?"
Lao Dao interprets it literally.
"Um!"
I nodded. Liu Sandao's method was actually very simple: he used this formation to awaken the things that Lao Dao had hidden.
However, I'm not sure if it will succeed. Liu Sandao wasn't sure either; he just told me to give it a try.
It's like trying to revive a dead horse by desperate measures.
I filled the copper basin with water, and then had Old Knife bite his finger and put a drop of his blood into it.
Old Dao winced in pain, which is how he managed to draw a little blood.
I had him drip the other drop of blood onto the talisman.
After I finished all that, I made an egg.
These are free-range eggs, brought over from the countryside by the shop owner.
The key point is that these free-range eggs are not only from animals fed with feed, but are also fertilized eggs.
According to Liu Sandao, these fertilized eggs are more effective than ordinary eggs.
I made Lao Dao take off his shirt, and then I cracked an egg onto Lao Dao's Dazhui acupoint.
This is the second time I've worked on this spot with Old Knife.
Last time, I used a talisman to manipulate Lao Dao's Dazhui (a point on his head) to break him out of his bewitching state.
After I finished doing all that, I lit three incense sticks and placed them in front of the basin of water.
"Brother Chen, is that all?"
Old Dao dared not move, he just stood there, ready to continue obeying my commands.
"No, wait!" I told Lao Dao not to move.
We've only just entered the most crucial moment. If Lao Dao makes any rash moves now, all our previous efforts could be in vain.
Old Dao could only obediently shut his mouth.
A moment later, the smoke from the three incense sticks rose up and enveloped the entire room.
Then, Old Knife actually started absorbing the smoke.
"It should be successful!" Seeing this, I breathed a sigh of relief. It seems that I have made some progress today.
Old Dao's eyes began to glaze over.
Because normal people don't absorb these things, the fact that Lao Dao started absorbing them indicates a problem.
I went straight up to him, grabbed Old Knife's head, and pushed him into the water.
The egg liquid on his Dazhui acupoint began to be gradually absorbed, and puffs of white smoke rose up.
Soon, Lao Dao's head emerged from the basin of water, and his entire face had changed.
The facial features are misaligned.
Its eyes, nose, and mouth had shifted up and down, and its skin had turned emerald green; it was terrifying.
According to Liu Sandao, I have one minute.
Actually, the method used now is similar to what was done with Master Jin back then.
However, the conditions I met were much more stringent, and fortunately, Lao Dao met them.
Where is Xu Feng now?
I asked the question that I cared about most.
That's where Xu Feng is now.
I want to know where Xu Feng is now.
"Haopo Village!" Old Dao tried to move his mouth, but because it was turned upside down, speaking was difficult.
"How much do you know about my eagle owl?"
I rolled up my sleeves, revealing the pattern to Old Knife.
When the old man in front of me saw my tattoo, his facial features began to distort, as if trying to detach from his face.
His expression was one of extreme pain, as if he would explode if you looked at him again!
I quickly pulled my sleeve down. All I know for now is that this tattoo is too mysterious and has a certain restraining effect on such vengeful ghosts.
The egg liquid on Lao Dao's neck is about to be completely consumed; once it is, the ritual will be over.
So before the ceremony ends, I want to get as much information as possible!
"Who sealed away Lao Dao's memories?" I held my breath, waiting for Lao Dao's answer.
Old Dao opened his mouth, forming an "o" shape, and was about to make a sound when his tongue mysteriously stuck out.
Old Knife's tongue is now a deep red color and looks frightening.
The entire tongue looked as if it had been deliberately pulled out.
"Who is behind all this? They seemed to have anticipated that I would pull this stunt!"
I frowned; it seemed the other party had been prepared all along.
I quickly activated the talisman, and Old Dao finally calmed down.
Although I didn't get much information out of him, at least I now know Xu Feng's location.
Once we find him, things will be simpler afterwards.
"Could it be Wu Zhiguo?" I started to wonder again, while Lao Dao shook his head like a rattle when he heard the three names.
The good news is that it's not him, but the bad news is that it's someone else.
However, up to this point, I still don't know whether this person is a friend or foe.
The smoke around Lao Dao's neck thickened, indicating that the ceremony was about to end.
Liu Sandao said that the ceremony should be ended in time, otherwise it would cause irreversible damage.
I've seen this with my own eyes. At Master Jin's place, that person was blind in both eyes.
Crack!
Old Dao turned his neck strangely and focused his gaze on my cuff.
"Whether you like it or not, a man who has borne the burden of God can never return to being a mortal..."
The old man opened his mouth and uttered this inexplicable sentence.
Seeing that the situation was getting out of control, I quickly pushed Lao Dao's head underwater.
Old Dao's body was struggling, and after a moment, I let go.
Old Dao pulled his head out of the basin, and his cheeks returned to normal.
