Chapter 388 White Fluff



Old Dao smiled ingratiatingly and urged me on.

I got dressed, grabbed my lightning sword, and followed behind Old Knife.

I wasn't completely at ease with Lao Dao either; he'd been acting strangely ever since.

It shouldn't have been this tiring to walk from his room to mine.

With Lao Dao leading the way, we arrived smoothly at the place where Lao Dao had been hiding.

The danger I imagined didn't come. Old Dao went to the innermost part and pried open a floor tile.

There was a small black box hidden under the floor tiles.

Old Dao took out the small box and respectfully handed it to me.

I was still wary of Lao Dao and didn't take it without permission.

I called out to Lao Dao.

"Roll up your pants legs!"

I raised my voice.

Old Dao was stunned for a moment, but still obediently rolled up his trouser leg.
