Chapter 421 Slaying the Demon!

"ah?"

Liu Sandao was full of questions.

I never expected that this was the reason why Zhou the tailor let Lao Dao stay.

"I can sense something different about him, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Let's not talk about that now, let's go inside!"

"It's up to you, Zhou the tailor," Zhou urged.

I shook my head. It's better for Lao Dao to stay outside; at least he'll be a little safer. If he came with us, who knows what kind of problems might arise.

Led by Zhou the tailor, we continued our journey and entered the deepest part of the cave dwelling.

The further we went in, the colder it became. After walking for almost five minutes, the wind was already biting cold.

As we continued onward, the surrounding walls began to warp.

The wall kept writhing, like a snake.

"Eat! I want to eat!"

A deep, guttural sound came from deep within the cave, as if it wanted to tear the three of us apart.

Liu Sandao unfolded the painting in his hand and pointed it at the inside.

The next second, a snake's head appeared on the wall.

"Good lad, this monster has already started to merge with the cave. Luckily we discovered it early. If we had been a little later, we wouldn't have been able to do anything."

After Zhou the tailor finished speaking, he stabbed with the magic weapon in his hand.

The snake's head was pierced through by Zhou the tailor's magic weapon.

Unfortunately, after one head was pierced, another head quickly appeared on the wall.

I began my slashing attack with the Thunderstrike Sword.

The effect was the same as what Zhou the tailor had done earlier; it was basically ineffective.

It's like cutting off a head and immediately having one grow back on the wall.

When I saw this, I was speechless. This thing doesn't do much damage, but it's incredibly insulting.

No matter what I do, there's absolutely no way to get rid of it; it's like it's impossible to kill.

"Senior brother, something seems wrong. This thing is too powerful!" Liu Sandao noticed something was amiss; the power of this thing didn't seem to be suppressed.

Everything they did before seemed like they were just playing a trick on us.

As soon as I finished speaking, the surrounding walls began to merge, and one snake head after another appeared, trying to devour us.

I rolled up my sleeves, revealing my tattoo.

Eagle owls have a natural ability to control these things. When the snake's head stretched out to attack the three of us, it was forced back by the eagle owl tattoo.

"Xiao Chen, this thing is too powerful now. Your Owl God doesn't have divinity and can't suppress them!"

Zhou the tailor's voice trembled.

The snakes' eyes glowed green, and the entire cave was illuminated by this light.

Following the light, I could see the sweat on Zhou the tailor's forehead.

"Brother Liu, where should we put this picture?"

I ignored Zhou the tailor and shouted at Liu Sandao instead.

"In the very center! The snake's head in the very center, just place it there!"

After Liu Sandao finished speaking, he tossed the map to me.

Because of the eagle owl tattoo clearing the way, the snake heads around me didn't seem to have any power over me.

I took the picture and pasted it directly onto the wall in the very center.

The snake heads, as if triggered by stress, began to bite wildly.

The entire cave dwelling shook, just like an earthquake.

"Let's go, saving our lives is the priority!"

Zhou the tailor shouted and rushed towards me, pulling me away.

A snake's head rushed towards me, but Zhou the tailor blocked it in front of me.

With a tearing sound, Zhou the tailor's left arm was ripped off right before my eyes.

Zhou the tailor grimaced in pain, but still managed to pull me out forcefully.

"Xiao Chen, hurry up and leave! I'll hold them off here! You and San Dao, get out of here!"

"If we don't leave now, we won't be able to leave later."

Zhou the tailor blocked Liu Sandao and me, telling us to leave quickly.

Although my eagle owl tattoo is strong, I don't know why, when facing these guys, I have absolutely no desire to fight, and I'm just passively defending.

I paused for a moment, then turned around and pulled Liu Sandao out.

Because Zhou the tailor was right, if we don't run now, we probably won't be able to escape.

At this crucial moment, the painting suddenly began to glow.

The light shot straight into the sky, illuminating the snake's head on the wall, rendering it unable to move.

"Brother Zhou, Brother Liu, what's going on?"

I was dumbfounded. This magical artifact is a perfect counter to the demons inside.

Then, the light shone on my tattoo, and the eagle owl's eyes gleamed with golden light.

"Xiao Chen, your friend has fully activated the Brahma Mind Concentration Diagram. This is the power that this magical artifact should have!"

Even Zhou the tailor was dumbfounded.

The true power of this magical artifact has actually been activated.

"Activated? Old Knife?"

I find it hard to believe too; how could Lao Dao possibly do that?

"Is it because of his yang energy?"

"No, impossible. I just checked. His body can indeed contain yang energy, but it's absolutely impossible for him to activate that kind of magical artifact!"

Zhou the tailor shook his head, denying my statement.

I looked at the tattoo again, and it looked different from before.

"That light just now suppressed that thing and endowed your eagle owl with a certain degree of divinity..."

Zhou the tailor had a strange expression on his face, clearly not expecting things to develop this way.

Despite the pain, Zhou the tailor joined forces with Liu Sandao.

"Xiao Chen, try eating them!"

Zhou the tailor reminded me.

I raised my arm, and sure enough, this time the eagle owl launched an extremely aggressive attack on those snake heads. The snake heads were swallowed up the moment they touched the eagle owl.
