Dead?
He just died like that?
I was completely stunned by what I had just witnessed.
Amidst the horrific scene of splattered blood, the beautiful woman in black still wore a charming smile and even began to dance as if nothing had happened.
After a brief silence, a gasp suddenly erupted from the crowd.
Many people turned pale with fright and turned to run frantically towards the bar entrance.
Many people were so disgusted by the bloody scene that their stomachs churned, and they bent over to vomit. The sour smell of the filth mingled with the stench of blood in the air, making them feel nauseous.
Strangely, many more people in the bar merely glanced at the bloody scene before nonchalantly continuing their friendly banter with those around them.
On the dance floor, the music was still deafening, and the lights were still flashing and mesmerizing.
The men and women seemed oblivious to the murder that had just occurred, continuing to writhe their bodies and immerse themselves in their own world of desire.
I felt a chill for no reason, which made my whole body feel cold.
Luo Tianhe, standing beside him, stared intently at the woman in black, his body stiff and motionless.
The entire bar presents a stark contrast between two completely different scenes: one of bloodshed and the horror of death, and the other of madness and unbridled absurdity.
It made me wonder if I had stepped into a cursed world where everything was out of control.
However, something even more chilling happened.
The headless corpse's fingers twitched slightly, then it exerted force in its arms, slowly pushed itself up, and actually got up.
As he crawled, he left a long trail of blood on the ground.
He groped for the head that had rolled to the side, picked it up with both hands, and tried to put it back on the neck, but he put it on backwards.
Then he grabbed his head with both hands and twisted it hard, finally turning his head upright.
The man cracked his neck, looking at the beautiful woman in black with some displeasure: "I said, Zimeng, you don't have to be so ruthless..."
Before she could finish speaking, the beautiful woman named Zimeng flashed a cold light in her hand, so fast that only a blur could be seen.
With a "thud," the man's head hit the ground again.
What's going on?!
A chill ran down my spine.
Although I've experienced many strange things, this is the first time I've ever seen such a scene.
Is this man a human or a ghost?
How can someone survive having their head chopped off?
The man seemed to possess a tenacious vitality, and began to assemble his brain again.
This time, his expression was even uglier than before, clearly he was genuinely angry: "Lin Zimeng, I was just joking, you had to..."
Lin Zimeng smiled innocently and tugged at his arm, acting coquettishly.
"Oh, they were just joking."
As soon as she finished speaking, with a "snap," the man's arm was forcibly ripped off.
Blood splattered on her face and clothes, but she was completely unaware and continued to smile.
The man let out a heart-wrenching scream, but Lin Zimeng's eyes gleamed with excitement, as if she hadn't heard it.
She slowly reached out and grabbed the man's other arm, muttering, "Why won't this arm listen to me?"
With another sharp crack, the man's arms were gone.
Immediately afterwards, Lin Zimeng grabbed the man's legs with both hands and pulled hard, as if disassembling a toy, and the man's legs were torn off.
Finally, like disassembling a toy, she broke the man into several pieces.
Lin Zimeng clapped her hands, picked up the broken pieces and threw them into the trash can, muttering, "Dirty stuff should stay in the trash can."
Perhaps sensing my gaze, she looked in my direction.
"She...she's watching us." Luo Tianhe's voice trembled.
My heart skipped a beat, but I wasn't as flustered as Luo Tianhe.
"Are you afraid of her?"
Luo Tianhe trembled: "Aren't you afraid?"
I said, you're a gangster boss, why are you afraid of a woman?
"Damn it, is this a woman? Didn't you see what she did to that man? What kind of hellhole is this?" Luo Tianhe swallowed hard.
It's true what they say, what you fear most is what happens most often.
Lin Zimeng, for some reason, started walking towards me and Luo Tianhe.
She was about 1.65 meters tall, wearing a black leather jacket with the hem of her skirt falling just above her knees, perfectly showcasing her slender legs.
Her legs were tightly encased in black stockings, the delicate texture of which was faintly visible, adding a unique charm to her leg lines.
She wore a pair of black knee-high boots, adorned with a few small silver studs. As Lin Zimeng watched her approach, Luo Tianhe and I both instinctively took a step back.
When she was only a few steps away from us, she suddenly stopped.
Tilting her head, her large, watery eyes stared at me intently, a faint smile playing on her lips: "You... seem to have seen something you shouldn't have."
The hairs on my entire body stood on end.
Luo Tianhe stood beside me, his body unconsciously tensing up.
What are they trying to do?
Murder to silence witnesses?
Are you afraid of me?
Lin Zimeng was staring intently at me, her eyes seemingly holding some unfathomable emotion.
"Uh...no."
"Let's get acquainted. My name is Lin Zimeng." Lin Zimeng extended her right hand to me.
Looking at her outstretched hand, I didn't dare to move, afraid that she would tear it away as soon as I reached out.
"Alright, Zimeng, stop teasing him. They're both new here and want to rely on Dr. Zeng."
Chai Mingyu walked over with a stunningly beautiful woman in his arms.
