"Damn it, you've been lying to me all along!"
Old Dao got angry and grabbed the security guard by the collar.
The security guard remained calm and composed, and said matter-of-factly, "Aren't you the same? You're pretending to be blind for your older brother!"
Old Knife's defenses have been breached.
"Alright, Lao Dao, don't take it to heart. He probably just didn't see me. He only saw me because of the Thunder Strike Sword."
I stopped Lao Dao and gave him a reason.
As for Lao Dao pretending to be blind, I didn't expose him.
"Hehe, Brother Chen, actually I have something to tell you. When I went to that villa, I could already see it, but I just wanted to give you a surprise!"
Old Dao took off his sunglasses and said with a grin.
I was actually a little surprised. Although I had known for a long time that Lao Dao might be faking it, I still found it a bit unbelievable when I learned the truth.
"Brother Chen, I really couldn't see at that time! But then I suddenly could see again, and I wanted to give you a surprise!"
Old Dao explained it to me, and my expression has calmed down now. That Old Dao really went too far.
"This is a surprise? It's a fucking shock!"
I was speechless. I looked into Lao Dao's eyes through my Heavenly Eye and discovered that there was a faint green energy fluctuation in Lao Dao's eyes.
It seemed as if something was constantly repairing his body.
There are too many secrets about Lao Dao. His blood is one, and now this self-repairing ability is another.
This is the first time I've encountered someone whose eyesight has been restored.
I looked at Lao Dao's eyes again, and sure enough, the green stuff had become even more intense.
"What's wrong, Brother Chen?"
Seeing that my expression was off, Lao Dao started asking me questions with concern.
"Your eyes are a bit green, no, they're getting greener!"
I used my third eye to observe Lao Dao's condition, and green energy was radiating from his eyes.
You can sense that this energy is very pure, but whether it has any malicious intent is unknown.
"Oh, what should we do then?"
Old Dao immediately peed again; it seems he was unaware of the green substance.
"Perhaps this is what Zhang Yongnian told you!"
I said coldly.
I still remember Zhang Yongnian telling Lao Dao to worry about his health first.
I reckon this is it.
Old Dao composed himself, and just then, the security guard spoke up.
"Masters, you just said you came from a villa? Is the villa on our side?"
The security guard interrupted Lao Dao and me, and went straight to asking about the villa.
I found it strange that he wanted to know this.
"Yes, it's not far away, probably five or six hundred meters away!"
I nodded and told the security guard the location of the villa.
The security guard was completely dumbfounded after hearing this.
"That's not right, masters! Our school is located in a mass grave. There aren't any houses, let alone villas, within a kilometer radius!"
The security guard's forehead was covered in sweat, and his voice trembled.
ah?
I'm confused again.
Damn, could even the villa be fake?
How could that be? I saw it myself; the villa really exists.
"It's nearby, we just came from that direction!"
I pointed to the spot where we had just been.
The security guard looked over, his expression even more horrified: "That's right, that's right, that's the mass grave! Master, have you encountered a ghost?"
Old Dao was terrified and started trembling again.
And I think I've figured out what's going on.
"Old Dao, give me some of your blood!"
I commanded Old Knife.
Without hesitation, Lao Dao pulled out a small dagger, cut his finger, and squeezed some of the dagger onto my hand.
I closed my eyes and smeared Old Dao's blood on my eyelids. Finally, my third eye seemed a little brighter than before.
The school is much worse than before, even though there are people in the school.
"May I have your name?"
I opened my eyes and stared at the security guard.
The security guard looked a little awkward.
"This! Master, I've really forgotten. There are so many things I can't remember right now!"
The security guard was so anxious he was almost in tears.
I was still a little skeptical when I heard this.
I can understand forgetting some things, because I also couldn't remember some things before.
But it's a bit strange that he's even forgotten his own name.
"Masters! What I said is true! And regarding the matters at school, I implore you two masters to lend a helping hand!"
The security guard spoke with great intonation, his emotions fluctuating considerably.
But as I read this, something felt increasingly off.
"Hurry, Old Knife!"
I grabbed Lao Dao and we rushed into the school, leaving the security guard behind.
I dragged Lao Dao for almost a mile before we stopped.
"What's wrong? Brother Chen, why are you walking so fast all of a sudden!"
Old Dao stopped, panting heavily, and it took him a while to speak, saying that he was getting old and his health wasn't good anymore.
I glared at Lao Dao fiercely. That kid isn't shrewd when he should be.
I asked him if he hadn't noticed such an obvious flaw by now.
"What flaw?"
Old Dao was completely bewildered.
I told him irritably, "We agreed to go have fun."
"Brother Chen, do you mean that person was stalling for time?"
