"Brother Chen, I didn't cause you any trouble this time, did I?" Old Dao asked a little embarrassed after calming down.
He also felt that he seemed to be getting drunk.
I first told Lao Dao that the woman was probably absorbing his yang energy.
"Damn, I knew it! Why am I so weak!"
Old Dao twisted his waist and felt extremely weak.
"Old Dao, have you noticed that this family of four has never appeared together?"
I suddenly realized what was strange.
This family of four never appears together; they always appear one after another.
"Yes, so what?"
"Moreover, their voices all sounded like they had been specially processed, as if they were deliberately faking it."
"It seems so, but it's not a big deal..."
At this point, Lao Dao's confidence clearly waned.
"The hostess is blatantly seducing you, clearly not the shy type, yet she blindfolded you. Isn't that strange?"
I continued to entice Lao Dao.
Upon hearing this, Lao Dao finally realized what was going on: "Brother Chen, you mean there aren't that many people in this attic at all, there's only one person!"
Were all four people we saw this person in disguise?
I nodded and added, "That should be it. When I came down, I saw that the woman had a fish tank in her hand, and the fish in it were full of yang energy."
Old Dao jumped out of bed in a flash: "Holy crap! Brother Chen, you mean, I'm with..."
"I think so..."
I usually don't laugh at Lao Dao's experiences unless I really can't hold it in.
"But don't be sad. So far, they don't seem to have much ill intentions towards us. Otherwise, if they really wanted to make a move, you would have been dead by now."
Seeing Lao Dao's dejected look, this was the only way I could comfort him.
Anyway, it's good that you're alive.
Old Dao remembered that he had eaten fish that night and couldn't help but vomit it up.
After Lao Dao had finished vomiting, I gestured for him to rest.
Old Dao originally wanted to find the woman and get to the bottom of things, but he was worried that he wouldn't be able to beat her, so he could only agree to my suggestion to conserve his energy first.
We each stayed in our own rooms and rested there for the night.
The next morning, the old man knocked on the door and brought us food.
However, it wasn't fish soup, but a stewed rooster.
I took a small bite, and it tasted exactly the same as the one the fat woman made.
There must be some connection between these two companies.
After taking a sip, I went to Lao Dao's room, where he had already woken up.
Old Dao probably still has dark circles under his eyes because he's still upset about what happened yesterday.
I brought the food to Lao Dao's room and ate with him.
"Brother Chen, let's finish eating and leave quickly. We need to find Xu Feng; this can't go on," Lao Dao suggested.
I waved to the old man and asked him about Xu Feng.
The old man was not surprised when he heard the name Xu Feng.
"He's a legendary doctor in the area, but there are some illnesses he can't cure, like yours, and like mine!"
The old man's voice wasn't as pleasant this time, but it gradually returned to normal.
Perhaps, this is the old man's original voice.
My heart skipped a beat; I didn't know what illness the old man was referring to.
Does it refer to the Earth Soul, or something else?
Could it be that the old man was also a young man like me, who turned out this way for some reason?
The more I think about it, the more likely it seems.
"Are you that woman from last night! Was it you?!"
Old Dao couldn't hold back any longer and pointed at the old man, questioning him.
He was almost about to rush over and grab the old man by the neck.
The old man simply nodded slightly, which was taken as tacit agreement.
"Hey, you son of a bitch! You old bastard, pretending to be a woman! I'll kill you!"
Old Dao was really angry; this was blatant deception of his feelings.
Just as Lao Dao rushed forward, the old man simply waved his hand, and Lao Dao froze in place.
This old man is indeed extraordinary.
Old Dao hovered in the air, yellow liquid dripping continuously from his trouser leg. The old man had peed his pants in fright again.
"Don't worry, although it was me yesterday, it was the fish that drained your yang energy, so you didn't lose out."
The old man twitched his fingers, the old knife slowly fell, and his body was able to move again.
"I'm losing money!" The old man's words only made him angrier.
"Young man, are you the Owl God?"
The old man ignored Lao Dao and looked at me instead.
"Um."
I gave a soft "hmm," rolled up my sleeves, and showed him my eagle owl tattoo.
I don't know yet whether he's friend or foe, but for now, this old man doesn't seem to have any ill intentions towards me.
"No wonder you were able to absorb the Owl God mural, young man, you controlled it very well!"
The old man looked at the tattoo on my arm and surprisingly showed a sense of nostalgia.
It was as if the eagle owl was an old friend of his.
"Yesterday I rashly went into the room on the second floor and happened to see a mural that looked like a tattoo. I don't know why, but I absorbed it!"
I tried to sound a little apologetic while hiding some details.
"No wonder!" The old man wasn't surprised; after all, he would know whether there were murals on the walls or not once he got back.
Old Dao, standing nearby, was stunned.
"Brother Chen, are you really that awesome?"
