"Never mind if you don't have it, step back and I'll handle it!"
I stepped forward and started kicking the door repeatedly.
The next second, I kicked the whole door open.
The room had been in disrepair for many years, and the door was almost completely broken.
With my strength greatly increased compared to before, the door opened with a single kick.
A strong smell of dust hit us, making me and the older woman cough incessantly, while the fat man seemed unaffected.
I led the older woman into the study. Although it was called a study, the bookshelves were filled with books, just like a library.
"You look unfamiliar with this place. Haven't you been here before?"
I've been observing the fat man's reaction; his expression has been off ever since he came in.
Logically speaking, as the survivor of this family, he should have known some things about the family after the incident.
"Grandpa, of course I'm unfamiliar with this place. Only the head of the family can enter. Our family has been much smaller since my grandfather's generation."
I often play outside this study, but this is truly the first time I've ever been inside!
The fat man readily admitted it.
I stared into the fat man's eyes and saw that he didn't seem to be lying.
"We'll split up and mainly look for notes and such to find out the origins of the He family!"
I gave instructions to the fat man and the older woman.
The two then split up and began to act separately.
Actually, I had a general idea in my mind that the origin of this family must be related to that bronze mirror.
