Chapter 525 The World in the Diary

"Okay, wait for me, Brother Chen!"

Without hesitation, Lao Dao followed my directions, biting his own finger and dripping his blood onto it.

I'm a little confused as to why Lao Dao didn't choose to use a knife this time. I remember he brought a dagger with him.

I asked Lao Dao, and he told me matter-of-factly that the one he used was different. If it was something to be applied to something, he would just bite it open.

I was speechless, but I still let Lao Dao drip the blood onto the diary. Sure enough, the moment the blood touched the surface, I felt that the diary had truly come to life.

The writing on it has also completely disappeared.

"Holy crap! Brother Chen, you're amazing! How did you know those words would disappear?!"

This scene completely stunned Lao Dao, who was so excited that he was incoherent.

I don't really know what would happen if I dripped a drop of Lao Dao's blood on it. I'm just sure that if I did, this diary would definitely have a different reaction.

"I suspect the writing hasn't completely disappeared!"

I made a guess; I remember seeing a similar blank diary in a movie before.

It may look like nothing, but you can actually have a conversation through it.

"Bring me a bottle of ink!"

I pointed to the ink on the windowsill and asked Lao Dao to bring it over.

Nowadays, teachers basically don't use fountain pens for office work; ink has probably been phased out of the market.

I don't know why there's something like this in Teacher Long's office. Is it just for this?

I'm not entirely sure; all my guesses will only be confirmed once Lao Dao gets his hands on it.

Old Dao brought the ink over, and I checked the production date; it turned out to be from 2005.

Twenty years have passed exactly.

The ink is Ostrich brand; I think that brand has been discontinued.

"Ostrich ink, I used it when I was a kid! This box is covered in dust!"

Old Dao looked at the ink and said something, then he unscrewed the cap and squeezed his blood into it.

"I'm worried there won't be enough blood, and if that happens, something might go wrong!"

Old Dao chuckled. I didn't blame him, because even if he hadn't bled out the blood, I would have made him do a little bit anyway.

I poured the ink directly onto the diary, and sure enough, it was absorbed as if it had entered a bottomless pit.

"Brother Chen, this diary is really different. Could it be that there's a spirit inside that can communicate with us through the diary?"

Old Dao was filled with anticipation, rubbing his hands as he looked at the diary.

Just then, a blue hand emerged from the diary and grabbed Old Knife by the neck.

The opponent was so fast that Lao Dao and I were completely unprepared!

Just as I was about to attack with the Thunderstrike Sword, Old Knife was pulled directly into the diary!

"Holy crap!"

I was dumbfounded. I had considered countless possibilities, but I never thought of this one!

The guy in the diary wasn't going to communicate with us at all; he just got Old Knife locked up.

I took a deep breath, raised the Thunderstrike Sword, and stabbed it at the diary.

You can hear the diary making a loud squealing sound.

"Brother Chen, stop poking! You're aggravating my dermatitis!"

The diary carried the painful voice of Old Knife.

I could tell that Lao Dao's voice sounded normal, so I quickly asked him a question.

"Old Dao, how are you feeling? What's the situation inside?"

I quickly asked Lao Dao, and it seemed that Lao Dao had simply entered the world of a diary.

They did not suffer any substantial harm.

"It's okay, Brother Chen, I'm fine now. This seems to be the real Shenwu No. 2 Middle School!"

Old Dao's voice continued to come out. I opened the diary and was surprised to find Old Dao's name on the first page.

Old Dao, like a fool, walked forward hesitantly.

The scene before us was just as Lao Dao had said; it was Shenwu No. 2 Middle School.

However, the school gate was much more dilapidated than we had seen before, and the lettering on the gate had changed.

"Old Dao, can you hear me?!"

Holding the diary, I called out "Old Dao!" and I saw Old Dao's body tremble slightly.

"Brother Chen, I can hear you. Please keep your voice down, it sounds like thunder!"

Old Dao was a little annoyed.

After talking with Lao Dao, he was surprised that I could see the world inside.

"Haha, but this is for the best. With Brother Chen behind me, I feel very safe doing things!"

Old Dao muttered to himself, but I could hear all of these things clearly.

I took a look and found that there was a small map in the upper left corner of the diary, with various colored dots marked on it.

There are three colors in total: black, blue, and red!

When I told Lao Dao about this phenomenon, he was immediately shocked.

"Brother Chen, you mean there's a game-like map radar in the diary, and you can even see enemies of different colors?"

Old Dao asked me, puzzled.

I explained it again in detail and also asked Lao Dao for his opinion.

"Brother Chen, based on my previous gaming experience, red represents enemies, black represents unidentified individuals, and blue represents friends!"

Old Dao began to guess what these colors represented.

But I don't think so.

"Old Dao, watch your back!"

I shouted.

Behind Lao Dao were blue dots, but I felt they were malicious.
