"Holy crap, Brother Chen, what's going on? Why am I all covered in hair?"
Old Dao peed again, touched his calf, and then casually touched his thigh, indicating he had stopped eating.
Judging from his expression, he must have grown quite a bit.
"Don't panic, don't panic," I reassured Lao Dao. What did he have to be worried about?
I've had lividity and tattoos before, but none of them are as ridiculous as this fuzzy hair.
"Brother Chen, if I turn into a fox, will you still protect me?" Old Dao asked tremblingly, afraid that I would just abandon him and run away.
"Don't worry, as long as you're not gay, I'll protect you. Let's go, this place is too eerie!" I said with a look of disgust. Was this old knife really that scared?
After I left with Lao Dao, a familiar man appeared in front of the unfinished building. It turned out to be the old master I had met before.
"Young man, we meet again. It seems you're in much better shape than I expected!" the old master said with a smile when he saw me.
He's not afraid at all if I hold him accountable.
"Senior! Can you see the problem with me?"
I bowed respectfully, and even a fool could see that the old master in front of me was no ordinary person.
When he pulled me away at dusk, he could tell at a glance that I didn't have a soul, and I knew he wasn't that simple.
With his constant guidance, I realized that this old guy's strength was no less than, and certainly no less than, that of someone like Liu Sandao.
"Hmm! You actually called me senior. Well then, since I've accepted that address, I should naturally give you a reminder."
When the master craftsman heard me call him "senior," he was taken aback for a moment, and then burst into laughter.
He seemed to really enjoy being addressed as "senior".
Looking at his smug expression, I had a strange look in my eyes, probably because I looked too old.
He naturally enjoyed being called "senior" by such an elderly man.
"Brother Chen, who is this guy?" Old Dao tugged at my sleeve and asked in a low voice.
I whispered in Lao Dao's ear that it was this old master who brought me here.
Without this experienced worker, I wouldn't have been able to find the unfinished building on my own.
"Kid, you should worry about yourself first. If you don't get rid of this filth on you soon, you might as well prepare your coffin!"
The old master looked at Lao Dao, then joked, "Oh, I almost forgot, this Brother Chen next to you is also a good match for your major, he can help you out."
Looking at the old master's forced smile.
The old knife-wielder was a bit numb and wanted to ask the master craftsman for help, but he seemed afraid that I would be unhappy.
"Senior, if you know how to solve this, please give me some advice!" I saw that Lao Dao was too embarrassed to speak, so I simply spoke for him.
Anyway, Lao Dao can't die yet.
"Do you really want to save him?" the old master asked with amusement.
"Yes!" I hesitated for a moment.
"Anyway, you're going to Haopo Village this time. Once you get there, find a tailor named Zhou, and he'll help you."
The old man just chuckled strangely, and after he finished speaking, he took out half a bag of betel nuts from his pocket and threw it at my feet.
"There are two more inside; they might come in handy," the old craftsman said, looking at my face with a half-smile.
I quickly picked them up; there were two more inside.
I carefully put it in my pocket and bowed to the old craftsman to express my gratitude.
This betel nut helped me a lot last time.
Although the old master's motives weren't entirely pure, he still did offer me some help.
"Zhou the tailor? Right?" I put away the betel nut and asked again to confirm.
"Well, good luck." The old craftsman stared meaningfully at my arm, which happened to have a tattoo.
I'm not surprised that the experienced craftsman could recognize the tattoo.
"Senior, what's your name?" I quickly called out to the old master as he was about to leave.
It can’t hurt to get to know them.
"Hehe, we'll meet again." The old master left behind these words and vanished as if he had never existed.
"Pah! What nonsense!" Old Dao spat a mouthful of phlegm into the sky.
"You don't know him?"
I looked at Lao Dao.
At first, I thought that the expert who had given Lao Dao guidance was this master.
Now it seems that's not the case.
Old Dao shook his head: "No, although I don't remember what that expert looked like, it definitely wasn't like him, unless he was disguised, right?"
Old Dao said he had never seen it before, and when he saw me set off, he quickly followed.
"Wait for me, Brother Chen!"
...
We're back from the unfinished building, and we've had a pretty good haul. We've packed up most of our things, checked out of the room with the owner, and are waiting for Liu Sandao at the door.
"Brother Liu, you've arrived?" Liu Sandao came over, looking travel-worn, with a black backpack on his back.
"Brother Liu, this is Lao Dao, whom I mentioned to you. He used to be one of my friend Luo Tianhe's men!" I gave Liu Sandao a brief introduction of Lao Dao.
"Old Dao, this is Brother Liu, he told you about him yesterday!"
"Hello, Brother Liu!" Old Dao also greeted Liu Sandao with great propriety.
"Looks like you're in bad shape!" Liu Sandao noticed Lao Dao's body; Lao Dao's calves now had even more white hair.
"Yes, so we need to hurry up and go to Haopo Village to take a look and resolve my problem and Lao Dao's problem."
As I said this, I glanced at Lao Dao.
Old Dao was deeply moved.
"Brother Liu, you don't need to take any risks with me this time. The two of us are enough!"
I also sensed that Liu Sandao had some unspeakable difficulties, so this time I simply didn't let Liu Sandao come.
