Chapter 575 The Soul Returns!

"You mean my earth spirit is coming back soon?"

My voice was filled with excitement; this was something I had always dreamed of.

Actually, ever since the last failure, I haven't had much hope for the return of the Earth Soul.

Even though I could clearly feel the fluctuations in my emotions these past few times, I still didn't have much hope.

But now, Old Man Lin's words have rekindled my longing for the Earth Soul.

"Is what you said true, senior?"

I still have some doubts; this is just too good news.

"Of course, we come from the same lineage, so why would I lie to you!"

Old Man Lin smiled and told me something even more astonishing!

I was completely dumbfounded once again.

"From the same lineage? Brother Chen, you wouldn't happen to be surnamed Lin, would you?"

Before I could even ask, Old Knife, like a chattering crow, yelled out.

"It's not that complicated! The so-called 'same lineage' is just a matter of lineage, a tradition passed down between sects. The two of us are not necessarily related by blood!"

After listening, Old Man Lin chuckled and then explained the connection between us.

I then nodded slightly.

What Old Man Lin said is somewhat plausible. If it were really as Old Dao said, that I am of the Lin family bloodline, then that would be too damning.

I've always felt that my surname is Chen, and Chen is my original surname. If anything else is mixed in with it, I really can't accept it.

What Old Man Lin said—that we might come from the same sect—makes perfect sense.

This is why Old Man Lin knew the complete steps for sewing up a corpse.

"Senior, is there anything else you need to do? I desperately need the Earth Soul!"

I started to get emotional.

I feel like this is the only chance I'll ever have in my life.

"You two, come here!"

At this moment, Old Man Lin did not reply to me, but waved his hand.

The old man wanted Old Knife and Ant to come over at the same time.

When I saw this, I also felt that something was amiss.

If sewing corpses is my specialty, then Old Knife and Ant have absolutely no say in it.

I don't quite understand what the old man meant by asking the two of them to come over.

Old Knife and Ant both looked at me at the same time, as if asking for my opinion. I nodded.

It means that they can come and take a look.

The two obediently walked up to the old man.

"Give me your blood! Don't worry, I'll only take a small vial!"

Old Man Lin looked at Old Knife, then with a slight flick of his wrist, a small bottle appeared in his hand.

I was slightly shocked; I hadn't expected that even Old Man Lin knew this secret.

I gave Lao Dao a wink, telling him to go ahead and do it without worry.

Old Dao didn't hesitate either. Anyway, I'll replenish his blood now, and he has enough blood to use.

Old Dao cut his wrist and began dripping blood into the small bottle.

Without my energy infusion this time, the power in Lao Dao's blood was not strong.

"Is that all? Or is it being used too frequently?"

The old man looked at the blood in the bottle and shook his head slightly, making a very low sound, but I still heard it clearly.

This made Old Knife a little unhappy: "I only have this much blood, take it or leave it!"

The old man then shut his mouth and waited for Lao Dao to quietly finish cleaning up the blood.

"What about me? You can't expect me to bleed out too, can you?"

Upon seeing this, the ant took two steps back.

"You just need to watch from the side!"

Old Man Lin replied.

I remained seated, quietly watching Old Man Lin's performance. I had no idea what the old man was up to.

Just then, Old Man Lin suddenly stretched out two fingers and began to form an array. The 23 needles in the box flew out like swords.

The 23 needles transformed into streams of light, constantly dancing throughout the hall.

Soon the blood in the bottle was stimulated by the 23 needles.

Immediately afterwards, one needle after another went straight into my body. Each time one went in, my body would twitch, but there was nothing I could do.

Because I discovered that I could no longer move my body.

"Don't worry, I told you I would never hurt you!"

Just as I was about to resist, Old Man Lin patted my shoulder and gave me a reassuring look.

I had no choice but to nod vigorously.

After all 23 needles were inserted into my body, I suddenly felt that the power within me was being guided in an orderly manner.

The power is still the same power, but it's like a disorganized company now having a core.

My head started to hurt, and a flood of memories rushed into my mind.

Most of them are all kinds of strange and evil formations.

And I also have my secret manual for raising ghosts.

The more chaotic and bizarre the things, the more they fill my mind.

"This is all I can do for now. If you want the Emperor's Soul to return, you must go underground!"

Old Man Lin sighed, examined my body, and shook his head slightly.

It seems that what we've done so far is not enough.

"Why do I have to find the Earth Soul?"

I looked up at Old Man Lin, wanting to find out why.

"You've probably noticed it too!"

Old Man Lin smiled calmly, walked up to Madam Lin, and tore off all of Madam Lin's clothes.

I originally intended to close my eyes, but I was captivated by this scene.
