These [blood gu] slowly fell along the edge of the eye sockets into the iron basin below.
Time passed second by second, and each second felt incredibly long.
After what seemed like an eternity, Master Jin finally said, "Alright, let him go."
Luo Tianhe and I breathed a sigh of relief, sitting on the ground panting heavily, as if all our strength had been drained.
Su Mingyang had fainted from the pain. His clothes were soaked with sweat and clung tightly to his body, as if he had just been pulled out of the river.
In the iron basin in front of him, a small basin was already crawling with [blood gu], densely packed, making one feel nauseous.
Jin Ye picked up the scarecrow and threw it into the iron basin without hesitation.
He then walked to the square table, picked up a small bowl, took a sip of water, pointed his sword finger at the scarecrow, and spat out a mouthful of water.

Jinye leaned forward and, like me, used his hand to pry open my eyelids, staring intently.
His scrutiny made me wonder if the old man was truly blind or just pretending.

Seeing Jin Ye's serious expression, Luo Tianhe was so frightened that his face turned pale.
Jin didn't say anything, but turned around and started tugging at my eyelids again.

Luo Tianhe quickly lifted his clothes and looked down, then took out his phone and kept peeking at it.
"Stop looking, and think about who the three of you have offended."
I thought about it and said that the only person I offended was Shen Man's father, but he didn't seem like someone who could be cursed.
Then he quickly told Master Jin about what happened in Rabbit Ear Village and that Bai Su's body was not buried in the [Evil Spirit Invasion Array].
Luo Tianhe shrugged helplessly: "I've offended too many people, and basically everyone wants me dead."
Jin stroked his chin, lost in thought.
"Think carefully about whether the three of you have been to any places together, done anything together, or met any women together. Although Gu is terrible, you have to come into contact with it to be affected."
