The next second, Suqin's figure slowly appeared outside the room door.
The cold moonlight shone down on her without reservation, outlining her terrifying silhouette.
The once dense array of tiny snakes on her head has dwindled to just a few, which are still wriggling weakly.
Many of them were even broken in half.
There were traces of blood at the cut end of the snake's body, indicating that it had been torn off alive.
Her clothes were soaked and stained with blood and dark green liquid, obscuring the original pattern. They clung to her body, wet and sticky, like a layer of rotting skin.
Suqin's movements were stiff as she slowly walked forward down the corridor.
Closer, even closer.
Suqin approached me step by step. I lay on the ground, my body pressed tightly against the earth, not daring to breathe even slightly, for fear of making the slightest noise.
The pungent, putrid stench grew even more acrid as she drew closer.
If she even glances at me, I'll be completely exposed.
Fortunately, she didn't seem to notice my presence and slowly walked towards the balcony.
Great opportunity!
As I watched Suqin walk onto the balcony, I quickly stood up, ran to the door leading to the balcony, and quietly closed the wooden door.
Then, with a slight "click," the bolt on the wooden door was inserted.
Through the glass window next to the wooden door, I saw Suqin standing blankly in the empty space, motionless.
The moonlight shone on her, casting a long, eerie shadow on the ground.
She just stood there quietly, and I didn't know what she was doing.
But at that moment, I had no mind to ponder her actions. I tiptoed to the room where Little Fatty's body was.
However, the moment I saw Little Fatty's corpse, my stomach clenched and I almost vomited on the spot.
(P.S.: Sorry, the car rear-ended another vehicle on the highway. I was writing this on my phone, so it's a bit slow. The next chapter might take a while. Sorry!)
