I stared in disbelief at this bizarre scene.
Luo Tianhe's hands moved much faster than his mind.
Before he could figure out what was going on, he instinctively swung the broken wooden beam, smashing it hard against the dean's head again and again.
The dean's head immediately deflated like a balloon, and brain matter seeped out from his ears, eye sockets, and nostrils.
This bizarre scene puzzled me even more. I've seen people bleeding from all seven orifices, but this is the first time I've ever seen someone with brains flowing from all seven orifices!
Luo Tianhe also had a great time.
"You son of a bitch, I'll teach you a lesson for doing nothing right every day! Tell me, where exactly is Li Huai?!"
But the dean didn't react at all, turning a deaf ear and desperately drinking the foul blood flowing from the mirror.
Suddenly, I noticed that the stitches that had been sewn onto his neck were now loose and frayed.
The next moment, Luo Tianhe actually hit the dean's head like a baseball, sending it flying.
Luo Tianhe was stunned when he saw this.
He looked at his hands and muttered to himself:
"Do I really have that much strength? To be able to knock someone's head off!"
And this indirectly disrupted the dean's actions.
I don't know why he drinks the filthy blood, but I know that letting him drink it will definitely not do us any good!
Before I could stop him, Luo Tianhe knocked his head off.
I give Luo Tianhe a thumbs up:
"Amazing Luo Tianhe, well done!"
The dean's head had been blown off, but his mouth was still wide open, desperately trying to drink the filthy blood.
His headless body was still scooping up the flowing blood with his hands and bringing it towards the mouth of his head.
The dense stitches at the severed neck were chilling to look at, and Luo Tianhe then realized that the dean's head had been cut off long ago.
He was somewhat puzzled and asked in confusion:
"Chen Yan, this guy's head was chopped off long ago. Was it done by a passing expert? But how could it have ended up like this?"
Hearing his question, I thought about it carefully and said somewhat uncertainly:
"I feel that after the fire, he might have cut off the head of the vengeful spirits of the dead children, and then sewed it back on for some reason, perhaps to torment them even more."
"However, this is just my guess, and the truth remains to be seen. After all, if my guess is correct, the dean should still be suffering, so how could he have turned around and used a rag doll to control them?"
This journey to the orphanage was full of mysteries and strange occurrences.
"By the way, our goal is to find Li Huai. Where exactly is that kid Li Huai?!"
Luo Tianhe suddenly realized what was happening.
I was now right next to the dean's head. Suppressing my nausea, I grabbed his hair, lifted him up, looked into his eyes, and said, word by word:
"Tell me Li Huai's whereabouts, and I can put your head back on your body. You can drink that black, foul blood to your heart's content."
Upon hearing my words, an excited expression suddenly appeared on the dean's face.
“Li Huai, Li Huai is in the basement. I imprisoned him and planned to turn him into a doll, but before I could really start, you came. I have to stop for now and deal with you first.”
"Give me the drink, and you'd better keep your word. I've already told you where he is!"
The dean's face was contorted with a mixture of longing, greed, hatred, and resentment.
"Wait, where's the basement? Tell me how to get there!"
I grabbed his hair and pressed him for answers; this was his only chance to tell us the truth.
"The basement is right by the entrance; there's a hidden compartment, just like this attic."
The dean spoke extremely quickly, as if afraid of wasting even a second. His eyes were no longer on me, but fixed on the mirror that was constantly dripping with dirty blood.
"Give it to me quickly, don't waste any more, so much has already been wasted!"
"You'd better not lie. We'll go back to the basement later. You can drink that stuff here first. If we find Li Huai, we'll leave immediately, so you can drink it without worry. But if we don't find him, we'll come back, and don't blame us for being impolite then!"
I squinted.
Upon hearing me say that, the dean added:
“The basement is not easy to find, but you can look at the symbol at the base of the wall. I made a mark at the time, it was a circle.”
"very good."
I nodded, and then kicked the dean's head away.
Instantly, his face contorted with hysterical hatred, and he shouted:
"You lied to me! You broke your promise! May you die a horrible death!"
"Pah, what kind of thing are you? Promises? I'll fucking swear on your promise!"
I spat and looked at the broken mirror that was constantly oozing dirty blood. I had a feeling that this thing had some extraordinary function.
Otherwise, the dean wouldn't have been so eager for this thing.
Luo Tianhe felt incredibly satisfied when he saw me kick the dean's head away.
"You stupid bastard, well done! If you're really going to be so stubborn as to keep your promise, then I'll have to beat you up."
I glared at Luo Tianhe and said irritably, "Do I look like such an idiot? I'm not surprised at all that you did something like that!"
"Go to hell, who are you calling an idiot?"
Luo Tianhe frowned, somewhat displeased.
I ignored him and turned my gaze to the mirror from which blood was continuously flowing.
Seeing me frowning in front of the mirror, as if deep in thought, Luo Tianhe couldn't help but ask,
"Why bother with this mirror? Let's go find Li Huai."
I shook my head and said in a serious tone:
"Li Huai has already been locked up for so long, a little longer won't make a difference, but I feel like what's flowing out of this mirror is going to be very useful!"
Luo Tianhe pursed his lips, "Have you lost too much blood and become a little obsessed? You want blood when you see it, and you feel bad when you see it being wasted."
"Get lost," I snapped, then held out my hand.
"Take off your cinnabar thread and copper coin clothes."
"What are you going to do?"
Luo Tianhe tightened his clothes and looked at me with some wariness.
"Stop talking nonsense, let me try to take some, or just take this mirror with me."
"No, are you crazy? This thing of mine is like a net. You want to use it to hold water?"
Luo Tianhe looked puzzled and kept muttering to himself, but he still took off his thing and handed it to me.
I ignored him, took out some talismans, and pasted them over all the holes, then wrapped the mirror up like a net.
